Gravatar Me too.

Gravatar Who?

Gravatar Don't play dumb with me, Spudsy. That's the maestro of Project Runway--you know you love him long time!!!

Gravatar Oh my. I luuuuurrrrvvv Tim Gunn.

I also love Project Runway. It is so amazing to watch people create beautiful (even not-so-beautiful) clothes -- and so quickly! It takes me 10 minutes just to thread a needle and sew on a button.

Gravatar Project whatsis?

Gravatar Project whatsis?

It's that show on Bravo that comes on Wednesday nights, right after...MY BUTT!

Gravatar Sorry, I don't have cable. And back when I had cable, the only reason to watch Bravo was "West Wing" reruns. (And, time permitting, to make fun of James Lipton.) My does this fella look smug, though.

Gravatar My does this fella look smug, though.

No, he's not smug. He's wonderful. He's the mentor everyone wishes they could have in their career of choice.

The only reality show I watch is "Hell's Kitchen." We don't have cable, anyway. But the husband lurves P.W.... he's getting the older seasons right now via netflix.

Gravatar Is this not the most generally competent group you have seen yet on the show? Usually, with these reality game shows, the first group is pretty good at things, then the quality of contestants goes down as the producers try to get more and more drama into the show (e.g., The Apprentice). The group of designers on this year's Project Runway is almost completely, to a man or woman, competent and capable of producing high-quality product on-demand. There are only maybe three people of this year's group who don't hold a candle to the others (and WHAT is Angela still doing there? She only won the last challenge because of Jeffrey and Laura).

Jubilee Jumbles, people.

Gravatar He's the mentor everyone wishes they could have in their career of choice.

Shakes, you crack me up. It's true, though.

Jubilee Jumbles, people.
I know.

Gravatar and WHAT is Angela still doing there?

She is an idiot.

Jubilee Jumbles, people.

Enough said.

Btw, I'm loving Heidi more and more this season, too. (I never disliked her, but now I lurrrrve her.) When she scolded Bradley's dog ("Bad boy!") in her mean Heidi voice, I couldn't stop giggling.

Gravatar I love the fact that the producers are also realizing that the "supporting" characters in PR are just as, if not more, fun to watch than Heidi and the designers. This season is the first time they've incorporated Tim and Nina Garcia into the ads, and Entertainment Weekly even had a great interview with Tim a few weeks ago!

The Geek TV thread on a discussion board I hang out on got distracted by PR discussion yesterday, and the board members started imagining if Tim Gunn showed up on Sci-Fi's new show Eureka, watching Henry and Fargo working on some gadget and telling them to "make it work!"

Gravatar I too heart Tim Gunn.

Gravatar Might I suggest purchasing a few of these: http://www.etsy.com/ view_item.ph...sting_id=305868
Tim Gunn fridge magnets.

Gravatar Oh Tim Gunn is the absolute best! He's one of the main reasons I watch the show. It was so funny last season watching Santino imitate him. I mean the man had Gunn down pat. "But where's Andre?" Please! It made me howl! Not that I liked Santino for any other reason. As for this season - they all seem more into playing it like a game and less about designing. That's the attitude that got that one guy booted. I won't say you can't cheat at being talented. I worked too many years in theatre to not have seen mediocre people smooze their way into outstanding jobs - only to fob most of the actual creative work off on talented assistants. But it’s kinda hard to escape the camera. These people have to create - and more power to the producers of the show for insisting on keeping it clean!

Gravatar No, he's not smug. He's wonderful. He's the mentor everyone wishes they could have in their career of choice.

Seriously, Tim Gunn should be given as a graduation gift to every high school senior, to help guide them through life. The world would be a better place. I *love* Tim Gunn.

And it was Laura and Michael who saved Angela from herself this week.

It's definitely a talented group this season, and we haven't even really seen some of the better designers (Michael) get to talk about their garments yet.

Gravatar Yay! An 'I Love Tim Gunn' thread! Honestly, he's so wonderful that I can actually watch portions of Project Runway. Even though I really don't care about fashion and I hate 'reality' shows. He's so wonderful that I imagine applications to that school are going through the roof (can't remember which NYC fashion school it is...Parsons? FIT?)!

YES! He is the ultimate gentle touch, and I love him endlessly for it.

Gravatar Waves! add me to the legion of Tim Gunn groupies. I never thought I'd get hooked to a fashion show. Hell, my boyfriend thought *he'd* never get addicted to a fashion show. yet there we are every Wednesday night...
The producers should realize they need to spend a lot more time with Tim and his critiques of the outfits under construction.
