re: Lauren's blog. And here i thought only WVa (and a few select others) was represented in that way in NYT. How sad they sneer at everyone outside their perimeter.
Ten days ago Melissa Bruen, the editor in chief of the University of Connecticut's student newspaper, was sexually assaulted by several men on a campus walking path while others cheered.
Last Friday she wrote about the assault in a powerful front-page article in her own newspaper.
I've seen no blog coverage of this incident yet, and I think it deserves attention.

It's been class warfare week at my place. There's like 6 different posts on it since May 1st.
We went to a good old fashioned street fiesta Sat. Dia de la Cruz. And naturally I turned it into a vino tasting orgy with the expected results. Yesterday was a sloooooooooow day. 
Re Lauren's "fuck you" to the Grey Lady: Hells yeah, us Hoosiers're learned good and all ready to vote n stuff! Hope they ain't usin' one of them newfangled e-lectrical votin' machines!
