Congratulations on the website. I well remember the excitement of the 1938 debutante ball. Facing the photo, I am the girl on the right and I think it was Zona Spike on the left. Someone will know.

Great to have the Women's Club being remembered.
My husbands aunt and uncle (Grace (Tammy) and Clem Fryer) were very hard workers for the establishment of the The Haven.
To this day I am still cooking from the 2WG cookbook.
When Clem & Grace passed away, we were fortunate to be given many of their household items. A painting that they were presented with for their work with The Haven has been returned via Mr John Muller, we understand that it is hanging now in 'Fryer Hall'. Auntie Grace was a great cook and enjoyed sewing. We gave much of her sewing and cooking items to the Pioneer Women's Hut at Glenroy for the displays in recognition of the women pioneers.
After visiting them in Wagga Wagga we fell in love with this part of NSW, and made the move from Sydney to Tumbarumba in 1982 and hence to Wagga Wagga in 1997.
We wish you success and hope that you receive many move stories.
Regards, Margret and Les Fryer.
