Thanks, I hadn't seen that one before!
I'm still looking around for a lightweight way to send and receive messages to other Cocoa threads. (Think Erlang-style asynchronous send with a blocking receive.) I've yet to find a satisfactory solution; mayhap I'll have to write my own the next time I need to do any multithreading...

Ah, thank you Karl. That was pretty much exactly what I was looking for... I didn't know that YAMessageQueue existed, and it wasn't for lack of looking!
