Gravatar Winter here up north has been miserable as well. You'd almost mistake the season for late spring: the plants are growing again, the bugs are back out, and at this rate it looks like I might need to mow the lawn in the dead of winter. A few days ago it was seventy-two degrees outside. I haven't even found the need to stop wearing short-sleeved shirts yet, let alone put on a jacket.

It's snowed once and only once this season. The snow didn't stick to the ground at all south of or in Boston, yet strangely enough there was a good two inches (that was melted shortly thereafter by a rainstorm) that stuck around north of Boston.
