The Andrew Turnbull Family of Fine Websites

Gravatar Plagiarism. Hands down.

Gravatar I'd be inclined to say that it could be plagiarism in either direction -- Screen Gems added a tail to the Badger Paper Mills trademark, or Badger dropped the tail from the Screen Gems trademark. However, after viewing the Web site for BPM, Inc., as it is now known (http://www.badgerpaper.com), I'm inclined to think Badger Paper was the thief. To fully appreciate the site as it now is, one must view it with SeaMonkey, Firefox, or Netscape. It was designed with Microsoft Front Page and apparently never tested with anything other than Internet Explorer -- truly an amateurish effort executed on a shoestring budget so stingy that plagiarism of another company's trademark seems entirely plausible. (Internet Explorer is only available on Microsoft Windows systems, so anyone on a non-Windows system will see what I see while writing this comment on a Linux box.)

Their current trademark looks quite different, so it's possible that Screen Gems got on their case some time ago.
