With the very last statement, which I think is largely your conclusion, I think you are a spiritualist.
You should read less of the lines of religion and more into the spaces of spirituality. That's something which can not be written, only experienced. Living in joy and doing your best to make the world a better place is what it is all about, Andrew.

I see where you're coming from, but in semantics "spirituality" is a term I dislike: It's a vague word tied to the supernatural that's often taken as a token to mean religion without saying "religion." I certainly can empathize with feelings of awe and wonder, but I prefer to call them out as such! ;)
