Best case scenario is if the NeoCons fuck things up so badly, with such a public protest, that they could never conceivably steal a 2008 election without the appearance of outright theft. Ah well, what a bunch of scummy pricks...
I was just this afternoon telling some friends as I have before that if they stole the 2000,2002 and 2004 elections how can we expect anything different in 2006 and 2008! People will have to hit the streets and not the voting machines before anything changes!
