Beware of the weird, admitting it as an explanation is like heating your house by setting it on fire.

Gravatar I pretty much agree. One of the disinfomaniacs we haven't discussed recently is Chris Hedges:
http://www.theocracywatch.org/ ch...es_nov24_04.htm

This guy is useful to the Jewish forces, as becomes obvious when you stop artificially dividing the Jewish forces into supposedly antagonistic groups (zionist, leftist, religious, neocon, liberal) and get to a more general perception of how they use all sorts of vectors simultaneously, of which this 'secularist' campaign against 'christian theocracy' is one.

Gravatar I just took my own advice and read the whole of the Chris Hedges article I gave the link for, above. It is indeed a disinfo classic - the way it works is fortunately fairly obvious - it uses the minor league Dominionists (or post-mils) who are not very interested in zionists but just want a christian theocracy in USA, as a smokescreen to smuggle through the Dispensationalists (or pre-mils), like Tim LaHaye of 'Left Behind' fame, who are fanatical pro-zionists, and whom it manages to quote from towards the end without explaining the difference. Thus Israel and zionism simply aren't mentioned - not once.

Gravatar This raises worrying future hoax scenarios:

UN's new mission: saving the Earth from asteroids
David Usborne, The Independent (London), 20 February 2007
http://news.independent.co.uk/ wo...icle2287038.ece

The United Nations will shortly be asked to take on a new and unfamiliar mission - to save the Earth not from drought, war or disease, but from the cataclysm that could occur after a direct hit by an asteroid. A group of former astronauts and cosmonauts is warning that at least one asteroid is on a path that could see it collide with our planet in 2036. They say work should begin on considering a strategy to protect humankind from this and other asteroids. Specifically, members of the Association of Space Explorers are planning meetings over the next two years - to be attended by diplomats, astronomers, astronauts and engineers - to draft an international treaty to address the threat. It will be presented to the UN for adoption in 2009. "You have to act when things look like they are going to happen. If you wait until you know for certain, it's too late," Russell Schweickart, an Apollo 9 astronaut, told the American Association for the Advancement of Science in San Francisco. "We believe there needs to be a decision process spelled out and adopted by the UN." Congress recently instructed Nasa to increase its efforts to identify asteroids that could threaten Earth. The agency is monitoring the paths of 127 "near-Earth objects" that may strike the planet. An asteroid named Apophis risks passing very close to Earth on 13 April, 2036. Astronomers warn there is a one in 45,000 chance of a direct hit. Its impact would wipe out an area the size of England.

Gravatar hmm, hospitallers again:

“We have a very clear uniformity of views with the Israelis,” said Burns, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Order of St. John, headed until his death by the former SS official, Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands. “One of our major [priorities] is obviously to work very closely with Israel and to be a good partner with Israel.” Burns made the comments while speaking at the Brookings Institute, home of the Saban Center for Middle East Policy (the Israeli-American media-mogul, Haim Saban, has proudly declared, “I’m a one-issue guy and my issue is Israel”).
http://kurtnimmo.com/?p=775

Gravatar Hmmm, SS again. The US left just can't break that habit.

Gravatar Nimmo is a funny guy. Certainly he has a leftish (or laroucheish) tendency to talk about Carl Schmitt and Leo Strauss in the same breath, as often as he can.

Gravatar "Danny" Steinberg" has been posting again--
http://dannysteinberg.blogspot.com/

(This about the new Blood Libel book from Italy that has apparently now been quashed.)

Gravatar nice. according to haaretz, the whole first print run of the book actually got out to the customers. 5000 copies I think it said.

Gravatar Regardless of what one thinks of Makow, here's the original conspiracy, to create 'God' as an expression of collective will.
http://www.rense.com/general75/g...l75/ godthat.htm
So, let's indict Jehovah for war crimes.

Gravatar Money is the root of all evil.

History repeats.

Add it up.

Gravatar Danny Steinberg rocks.

Gravatar Wouldn't it be nice, neat and tidy to be able to declare with absolute certainty that the world's ills are attributable to _x_y_z_ , or in the context of the present post, the 'Zionists!' and their dual-national foot-soldiers in the White House.

How convenient that would be! We could simply get out our weapons of choice and rid the world of its evil in one fell swoop. -- Heh, if only it were that simple ...

No doubt what I'm about to say will not be popular here [insert smiley face], but if we're looking for the lowest-common-denominator, supreme villain, in the present state of things, it's likely not to be found in a particular administration or ideology [religious-based or otherwise]. The Bush [Chirac, Mugabe, Merkel, etc] administrations, close cousins to Zionist Israel, are mere symptoms of the higher, nebulous ill which is furiously out-of-control Capital. Capital has acquired a life and mind of its own.

National governments have become little more than tools of the Money Managers. They who gots the money: they who sets the policy. Why do you suppose the spanking new, Democratic US Congress has disregarded opinion of the popular force that voted it into power? ... US law-makers are symbolic entities, bit-players in a controlled theater piece that goes by the name of 'Democracy'. A piece that outdoes itself with its built-in irony.

So, hmm; comment dire. If we're to be serious about putting an end to blood-baths and misery, we've got to become more judicious in the identification of the real sources of our problems. The true ruling entities in action are masters of deception and dissimulation. They don't make headline news.

Give this some thought the next time you go to your bank.

Gravatar To judge by that last comment (from sijepuis), the marxists have now resorted to adding a smattering of monetary theory to disguise their identity.

Gravatar Xymph:

You have finally exposed your ignorance (or own deception) in this post. The source of Evil in this world is the Devil (note how similar those words are) Zionists are simply the latest Satanists (worshipers of the Devil) and some of them (leaders) are members of the Illuminati. Their Deception as an MO (Mossad motto) is what gives them away - the Devil is known as 'The Great Deceiver'. Even when the Zionists are ultimately defeated (annihilated), the Devil will still be around - until he is cast into the pit of hell once and for all. That will happen at the end of Time (soon!) It's sooooooo simple that it's hard to miss unless you're not spiritually (as well as 'naturally' informed) Like most other people, you lack 'Vision' - and I'm sure you know what happens to people without 'Vision'

Learn all about it by studying my Homepage diligently! What you will SEE there is not Conspiracy theories but Truth - as well as THE explanation! (All other 'explanations' are Conspiracy theories and deception). Get it?!

One more thing, you need the 'whole armor of God' to successfully resist and defeat the Devil. Elections, demonstrations, boycotts, write-in and phone-in campaigns just won't do it! The sword of the Word of God is the ONLY offensive weapon which is of any use in this warfare. Exposing the evil deeds to the light is the 1st step. THEN you have to apply the sword

Gravatar PS The Devil has NO defense against that sword. He has already been defeated and he knows it

Gravatar Please, for the love of God, limit your smileys to no more than 3 per day.

Gravatar Man from Atlan:

Smileys have nothing whatsoever to do with the love of God! Smileys exist to punctuate words and add emotive content (aka emoticons). Let them brighten up your day and feel words, rather than just read them

Gravatar Capital is not intrinsically evil. It can be used for good. The problem with Marxists is that they want everyone else to give up control over the capital so that only the Zionist overlords can play the capitalism game. The US is capital-poor and debt-rich.

Gravatar GodSend makes a good point. The ultimate conspiracy theory is that Satan is the source of all evil. He is the great deceiver and so the ones who are deceived by him and become deceivers like him receive the power. We have to be careful that in resisting the enemy, we don't end up as soldiers of Satan. Instead of defeating evil with evil, we must defeat it with good.

Gravatar Your words are sincere, so I don't have a problem with that, GS. Maybe you should consider that people react to YOU, and not your message?

Gravatar It makes sense to me that Iran will not be attacked because it is not a part of Greater Israel. This means there will be little interest in occupying Iran. However, it might still be attacked to create a distraction. For example, it could be attacked to support the disinfo idea that the war is about oil.

The problem for the Israelis is that if they invade Syria and Lebanon that breaks the disinfo idea that the war is about oil. Why would the oil establishment want Syria? It doesn't make sense.

However, if they launch a war on Iran they can justify attacking Syria by claiming that Syria is an Iranian ally, and a proxy for the Iranian state.

The same justification was used in going to war with Hezbollah. The disinfo reasoning that was used to support the Lebanese war as that Hezbollah needs to be neutralized to weaken Iran, and Iran needs to be neutralized to grab the oil. The rhetoric on Iran is needed to make this disinfo stick. Otherwise this disinfo will disintegrate, just like the WMD disinfo is no longer taken seriously, once it is falsified by reality.

So the purpose of the rhetoric on Iran is not to capture Iranian territory, but rather to capture Syrian and Lebanese territory. Iran provides a virtual enemy that is consistent with the war-for-oil disinfo. Connecting Syria and Lebanon with Iran, provides a justification for capturing them, that maintains the smoke-and-mirrors disinfo that the oil-men are driving the war.

Gravatar However, it is possible that Iran might be attacked or at least bombed as a prelude to an eventual invasion of Syria. Iran will never be invaded physically, because that will be very expensive and also pointless (as Xymphora points out -- since they are not a part of Greater Israel). But an aerial bombing can still occur.

Here is how the plot might unfold:

1. The rhetoric with Iran will build up to a fever pitch. A few token Iranian targets might be bombed: for example the nuclear facilities in Natanz.
2. The disinfo will be planted that Iran is planning to retaliate using missiles it has in Syria. Syria will be built up as a proxy state that takes direct orders from the Iranians.
3. To neutralize this imaginary threat from Syria, US-Israeli troops (preferably US only) will Iraqify Syria -- i.e. they will destroy civilian infrastructure and unleash a civil war between the Alawis and the Sunnis with daily suicide bombings and death squads.

Now it might be possible to achieve #2 and #3 without bombing Iran. And I actually think Xymphora is right that #1 is unlikely to occur. Even if it occurs it will be extremely cosmetic.

Gravatar Blen, there are a number of once powerful nations that were smashed by the Jews because ... they just didn't get on. None of them were 'within Greater Israel'.

Gravatar Revelations:

black family has cross burned on their lawn by 4 KKKers.

vietnamese med student stomped, beaten to death by angry whites.

art teitelbaum, adl boss in so. fla, rushes to both incidents followed by cameras and print reporters.

both actions he shouts are "antisemitic". no jews involved. so. fla and maybe entire nation lectured about evils of antisemitism.

about same time, norman braman(or an equally wealthy jew) approached a young black male and said, "i understand. my ancestors also were slaves." (slaves to money and deception?)

ersatz hebrews. ersatz history. deceivers. demented minds.

Gravatar Blen, the war is about securing oil distribution rights for Israel. I went to google to provide you to a link to an article by Andrea Crandall called "Oil and Israel". The article has been pulled by google and yahoo...spooky. It also tells me that it must have been right on the money. If you go to sandersresearch.com and register (it costs nothing) you can read it. It must have struck a nerve or they won't have pulled it.

Gravatar People thinking about the problem of evil you should check out Harold Bloom's "The Lucifer Principle". Not that I agree with Bloom 100%, but it definitely broadened my perspective.

Here's are two exerpts, (Introduction and Ideology is Theft). The whole ebook is floating around the net (try emule).

Gravatar RB, just a quick reference to your topmost post, re. Chris Hedges useful to the Jewish forces.
I saw him on TV the other day and was struck by how obviously gay he looked.
Not that it means diddly squat, except my mind harkened back to Hufschmidt's idea of Jews having compromising material on vulnerable goyim, such as J. Edgar Hoover.
Very useful ...

Gravatar 5 dancing shlomos has a point too.

Gravatar Man from Atlan:

People not only see and react to my words (and smileys) - they also react to what and Who I represent. If they wanted to better see (understand) me, they would take the time to fully examine my website. Then, they would react not just to me but also to Christ and His message to humanity - and we already know what that reaction will be. Remember that the world persecuted and crucified Him and the same will happen to His true disciples (persecution, possibly death). Christ confronts people with themselves and they are shamed by what comes to light (their hearts of Darkness and their love of Self - arrogance and pride). Their natural reaction is to fight against the light and exposure like the Devil. Only God can transform our hearts of Darkness through His Amazing Grace. If you don't believe this, then you have not (yet) been put in circumstances where you will discover your true nature. The Good News is that you can be born again and become a different, spiritual man IF you are willing to crucify your Self at the Cross - and become like Christ Usually, you need to be at your wits' end before you are willing to do that. You will be a lucky man if God takes you down that road and if, at the point of despair, you call on Him to save you. That's what happened to me and to most of His followers. We didn't just make an easy 'Decision for Christ' at one of Billy Graham's crusades

Gravatar Anyone would think we were obliged to choose between the Jewish Lucifer and the Jewish Christ!

Gravatar So Ariel Toaff's book has been pulled from circulation.
In a couple of days, any reference to it will be marked as hate crime and the offender rendered to Germany accordingly.
But before that happens, here is an excerpt from Jerusalem Post:
Toaff offers as an example the case of Saint Simonino of Trent. In March 1475, shortly after a child's body was found in a canal near the Jewish area of Trent, the city's Jews were accused of murdering Simonino and using his blood to make matzot.

Toaff reveals that the accusations against the Jews of Trent "might have been true."

Toaff refers to kabbalistic descriptions of the therapeutic uses of blood and asserts that "a black market flourished on both sides of the Alps, with Jewish merchants selling human blood, complete with rabbinic certification of the product - kosher blood."

I guess that Madonna, Britney Spears and their coterie of sluts will do anything to retain their youthful, Dorian Gray image.

Gravatar The inescapable fact is that all the good stuff seems to reside in URL's, books and articles that have been withdrawn from circulation.

Ray Bradbury, you were right.

Gravatar RB:

Bingo!

Gravatar and smekhovo is right, too: Danny Steinberg indeed rocks.
This guy is (was) good too:

Gravatar PS "Choose you this day whom you will serve" (Mammon/Lucifer or God/Christ) If you think there are any other options, you are deluding yourself. You are either FOR God/Christ or you are AGAINST Him!

Gravatar Quoting "fat old jewish guy who lives in projects" concerning Rudolph Giuliani's part of 9-11 conspiracy:
I remember going downtown to the scene of the attack and watching cops tell people to put away their cameras, because Mayor Giuliani said that you cannot photograph a crime scene. It was a surprise then to find out that the evidence had been shipped to China to be melted down.

Gravatar I have to say that this essay by xymph represents real progress in the thinking on the current situation.

Because it does not traffic in the occult explanation, it is also not as subject to being fogged out by racism, which often clouds vision.

It's about means, motive and opportunity, proved with material evidence and actions by the parties.

The reason most people are unable to face this squarely is that there is a barrage of fear-mongering, including the fear that we or Israel might be stupid enough to attack Iran. The "axis of evil" from a State of the Union (composed by a Canadian named Frum) has been turning for about four years in the press and the public mind.

Is Iran a decoy for some place else? That seems to be what xymphora is saying.

Meanwhile, the US public is being treated to the spectacle of another kind of Katrina: the abandonment of the wounded veterans to the corridors of dank, self-run rehab at Walter Reed II or in alleyways and private homes, and cellars where veterans hang themselves because they are on some insane waiting list. What country abandons its wounded during a war? I guess the Germans on the Russian front.

But if the rich people think that the people who fight ("voluntarily") are actually not the same as they are, are inferiors, well, there you go. Women in fur coats and men crawling around with missing limbs. What's wrong with this picture?

I think the public is being "spared" with the kind of "wardrobe malfunction" hypocrisy that insures fresh recruits who believe they are "making a difference."

Gravatar Little reason to respospond to,

Rowan Berkeley | 02.20.07 - 9:33 am | #

To judge by that last comment (from sijepuis), the marxists have now resorted to adding a smattering of monetary theory to disguise their identity.

Disguising an identity? T'is you who raise the question. I have neither identity nor ideology to hide.

Meanwhile, you've provided no argument. Why not?

Gravatar Spare yourself the trouble, RB. I think I've understood. Although I've read Xymph for some time I think I've grasped, finally, what this site is about.

Thanks anyway.

Gravatar "The history of mankind is the history of class struggle" - Marx

Catchy and high sounding, it explains it all except, of course, millenarian phenomena such as jewish hyper-ethnocentrism.

Mere coincidence, I suppose, Mr. Mordechai Levi.

Gravatar Easy there, this site is about as many things as there are individual posters, no two alike.
Rowan does abhor a marxist though, while I don't, having no practical knowledge of the matter.
Long time I tried to read something by KM and promptly switched to Duck History as a more enlightening read.
Therefore, I depend on trusted sources, be it you or RB for the "readers' digest".

Gravatar U.S. senators to arrive in Israel for indoctrination ...

Gravatar Rowan,

"Capital has required a mind of it's own"?!!!

I never thought of that! Holy shit! Money has a mind! And of its own!

Has poverty required a mind of its own too?

Finally all of Rowan's theories have crumbled to dust. Sorry Musings for not defending your right to dump on the German people as the manifestation of pure unadulterated evil in the world. I was sidelined by thinking that money didn't have a mind of its own.

Everything is so simple and clear now.

Germans bad and money has a mind of its own.

Sijepuis, Muse, you two are awesome, just awesome man!

Let's see Rowan wiggle out of this one. Unless, of course, he's also finally seen the light after such an onslaught of overwhelming logic and objective reasoning.

Gravatar Will the Iranians stand around and let fellow muslims (shia or no) be massacred by Israel? Are they capable of doing something about it? Me, I reckon the answers are no to the former and yes to the latter.

Would the Americans have stood around and let Japan take the oil, coal and steel they'd been denied in South East Asia? Would the Americans have stopped them capturing these resources?

The Japanese had no desire to occupy the US. So according to Xymph's logic there should have been no reason for them to attack the Pacific fleet in Pearl Harbour.

The Iranians present a threat to Israeli plans for the Middle East that must be pre-emptively eliminated. Just like the Japanese destroyed the Pacific fleet the Israelis (or their US proxies) will do their best to smash Iran to pieces.

Gravatar It may be irresponsible to compare GEACPS Japan to Zionist Israel, and worse to compare Iran with the US. Beyond the pseudo-comforting veil of conventonal wisdom are certain reliable facts recognized by dissidents, such as Elie Wiesel's fantastic lying, and one of these is the extensive record Israel and Iran have of helping eachother. When we receive data that contradicts the official version of reality, it shouldn't be dismissed if we can find some explanation that makes it reasonable, and that explanation is the Periphery idea. Israel and Iran are married by the central bloc of Sunni Arab states that separate them just as China and Pakistan share an Indian interest, or Germany and Russia could agree on Polish borders if temporarily. Japan and the US on the other hand were separated by the Pacific Ocean and John Dower does an excellent job of illustrating how racist misconceptions led both states into repeated disasters with eachother. Furthermore, Iran's friends in Lebanon may have given Israel a taste of things to expect. The illegal use of antitank munitions against better armed and supported infantry personnel, made possible only by the asinine clumping together the Israeli terrorists learned patrolling ghettos, was the same shock tactic that won great success for rag-tag Iranian militias against state of the art Iraqi batallions in the Iran-Iraq War. Israel has more and better reasons to attack Syria and Lebanon than to undertake this great trek across hostile territory. Perhaps the most compelling reason, which Xymph led the charge on, is the way Establishment Media are allowed to scrutinize the stupid reasons for this war when the same outlets could neither think of nor hear the same essential objections for the last.

Gravatar Have the cows come home yet? No?
Then let's continue talking.
If ever the worldwide peace breaks out, Israel is finished as a viable state, it's tits on bull situation, because they have absolutely nothing to offer apart from gratuitous violence.
Of course, peace implies justice for Palestinians, first and foremost.
So, of course they will make sure that peace catastrophe (holocaust, in Greek) does not happen, and with a big, dumb, scary Golem of US at their beck and call, they can afford to kick sand into anybody's face and they will.
Hence, the world must chose between peace and Israel.
We (anglos of US, UK, Canada and Oz) have chosen the chosen.
It is really such a simple calculus and the main reason for attack on Iran and/or Syria.

Gravatar Konrad Löw: The theory of value is the cornerstone of the system of Marx. What is the exchange value and price of a ware? How can it be ascertained? Marx answers: "By the quantum of the in it contained ´value forming´ substance, the labor. The quantity of labor itself measures in its length of time, and the labor time has its measure in certain parts of time, like hour, day.." As a child of his time Marx is caught in a basic error: It would exist an `objective value of the ware´. This wrong assumption is followed by numerous erros of judgements; his whole argumentation is based on them.. Bought and sold is though not by a calculable, objective value, instead according to subjective estimation of the value.. Unregarded by Marx and his followers are the the subjective value regarding works of David Ricardo, Adam Smith (luxurygoods), Stanley Jevons, Léon Walras, Carl Menger. If no one wants to buy the product, what value has it? So the "KAPITAL" falls like a house of cards, especially Marx´s theory of the surplus value, of which he has been so proud of. (Konrad Löw)

Gravatar Regarding the predictions about attacking Iran: perhaps the answers lie in history. Biblical history. The three nations infamous for subjugating the ancient Israelites are 1. Egypt 2. Assyria 3. Babylon.

Maybe it's just payback time? An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth? So counting backwards, Babylon (modern Iraq) came first.

Is that the way they think? Yea, that's the way they think.

Gravatar When Zimf says that a theory should be "falsifiable", he/she probably means "testable", i.e., given the choice of 2 complementary (mutually exclusive) states, it should select one and not its complement, instead of giving "yes, we have no bananas' answer.
Chomsky's invariably predicts the same thing, the US robber barons.
It's like HIV test that is always positive.

I hate to think that the Izzy folks are invariably culpable for everything that goes wrong on face of the Earth (and never credit given to them when it is due), but the problem is it is so hard to exclude them, since they are dispersed and influential almost everywhere.

For example, I don't believe they were in any way implicated in Darfur or Rwandan massacres but again, the fact is that they have a lock on diamond trade and are no doubt up to their tits in other African commodities like tantalum.

Gravatar Tiger Eye, "Money has a mind! And of its own!" ..If Mr. Sijepuis believes it.. currency stampeding Iraq, the dollar monster returning, shekel´s satanical saturation!

Gravatar We've all got our own theories on what's going on out there - it makes us feel better, makes us think that we "understand" the world in which we live. We can make that theory as complicated or as simple as we wish. If someone has a different theory then he is a "disinfomationalist" (if predictiveness is a word then so is disinformationalist). Maybe he or she is, but just because it's a different theory and doesn't fit your world view doesn't mean that it's BS.

What's agreed is that the world is in a mess and something has to be done about it. We've tried wars (breaking skulls) and that just made things worse. We need to embrace our differences and our "enemies" and accept the fact that there is good and evil in everyone.

First order of business: lose the fear.

Gravatar Fritz, to simplify your Konrad Löw critique of Marx´s value theory I propose this formulation:

In capitalism anything has a price, and one thing´s price IS its value.

Moral or immoral, I guess that summs it up.

PS. thanks for the german links on the other thread. I enjoyed staatsbriefe.de, and was amazed to discover that Angela Merkel is Hitler`s daughter. So far I had wrongly believed she had been cloned from Helmut Kohl´s bum cells.

Gravatar Fritz, the crticism of Marx's theory that you quote is based on the subjective theory of value created by Menger et al and subsequently made famous by Mises & Co. This theory - at its best - could be described as reactionary liberalism. At its worst it becomes a cover for all sorts of evil manipulations and extortions, as with Margaret Thatcher's famous enthusiasm for von Hayek.

One of the problems with liberal economists is that they can always claim their ideas would have worked if they had only been applied more rigorously...

You can see some of the famous names and their basic ideas as they were applied during the Thatcher period, here:
http://cepa.newschool.edu/het/es...ism/ mpolicy.htm

where it becomes apparent that the real purpose of monetarist deflation is to bankrupt local capital in favour of hyena-like international investors who will pick up distressed portfolios cheap and slip a few wedgies to maggie in gratitude, as doubtless happened.

Gravatar lobro, Sudanese prez many times said the Zionists were funding southern rebels for the past few decades, and instigating chaos in Darfur... of course the Zionists hide behind brits, yanks, CIA, Germans, and others. But I'm willing to bet the Zionists are involved in Sudan. Like they are in morroco, algeria, ethiopia, and elsewhere in the continent

Gravatar I am wondering how much attention to give to Nico Haupt's constant complaints that one of the prominent 9-11 activists (Les Jamison) is a believer in the Urantia book.

There is a video of Nico and Les arguing about this at a 9-11 truth meeting in New York:
http://911closeup.com/nico/ jamis...ison_player.swf

On the face of it this is pretty meaningless, but underneath it suggests:

(1) Since Urantia is really just another example of 'cosmic' (i.e. science fiction inspired) christianity, Nico could be fronting for the Jewish faction by recycling its paranoia about being evangelised by christian missionaries,

(2) Urantia also teaches that the earth is under the control of a rebel angel, a Lucifer if you like, and is in this sense what one might call conjuncturally gnostic. By this I mean a relatively mild form of gnosticism - the more extreme form, ontological dualism, claims that the universe of good and the universe of evil are actually made out of different substances, rather like matter and anti-matter. However, here, in Urantia, we do not see this but just the idea that the earth is occupied territory held by a rebel angel and beseiged by the godly forces of the rest of the universe (a silly idea, inmo).

Gravatar lobro if u see international chaos in regards to muslims, jus look for the Zionists

Gravatar Yes, Germany and Russia could cooperate against Poland. However, it was equally possible for them to go to war with each other.
So don't rule out an attack on Iran, just because of that nice Mr. Cohen's interest in expoliting the sectarian conflict.

Gravatar Regarding lobro | 02.20.07 (on Toaff)

.... Mmmmm, so the jews were packamule-n-merchandeusing (bock-n-farth) to accomodate the folks prosecuted by the catholic church (terminally = genocided) with the funny natural product habits, the red haired (independent, pagan, artistic) ones that Laurence Gardner (DaVinciCode tack/tick) is on about (and you thought urantia was weird)?

.......

Well, i recall that the dutch sundaymorn history program was on this case and pretty smugly in a (strijdbare = resistant, defiant) wearied (this again?) sort of way concluded with: a mirror game. Christians have made a ritual out of eating a jew (christ) so don't be suprised if they will attempt to project the crime, guilt and shame on their target in a vain attempt to reverse charges.

However, before that, the details of the case prove that at least one case could not be proven to have such hallucinatory causes exclusively.

Gravatar I think the point Nico was making is that Urantia is linked to Travistock, and therefore suspicious.
http://911closeup.com/nico/ 911tr...ling_cult4.html

Gravatar oops, i meant 'duesing' (as in german for jetting - spiglotten sie jitterish already?)

Gravatar That is a good article RB. I think it is right on the money.

Gravatar piet: Christians have made a ritual out of eating a jew (christ) so don't be suprised if they will attempt to project the crime, guilt and shame on their target in a vain attempt to reverse charges.

1. Toaff, the author is not only Jewish, his father was the chief rabbi of Italy, so the blood-libel book cannot be Catholic propaganda unless you claim that Toaff is Vatican's not-so-secret agent.
2. Do you really, really think that those taking part in Eucharist feel guilty of cannibalism, by eating consecrated bread and a sip of wine?

Eucharist commemorates Christ's crucifixion, death and ressurection, and no matter how ludicrous you may think the whole thing is, that's all there is to it, not some weird carnal initiation rite.

You've been reading too much Umberto Eco, methinks.
Whereas Toaff tries to reconstruct one event according to available evidence, you falsely deconstruct another to arrive at the identical conclusion, like a kid who playing with his mashed potatoes at dinner ends up with a monster face staring at him from the plate.

Gravatar Salman: the people of souther Sudan are animists or Christians (and a mix of the two), the ruling class in the North are Muslim and that is the cause of friction.
Israelis may have (and probably did) tried to profit by destabilizing the Muslim regime but they couldn't have instigated it.
Spotting Jews in Sudan is awfully easy and they are not known risk takers.

Gravatar Maybe this world has gone a bit kuku!

Gravatar aha, Tavistock! You recall I said that in my opinion Nico was wrong when he claimed (as he does regularly in this connection) that 'Tavistock' (and all the other spooks listed by 'Dr John Coleman, ex-MI5 man') based their technology of brainwashing of individuals upon Freud. I said this was wrong because in hard science terms Freud is more or less valueless.

I admit that, via Freud's nephew Bernays, a Freudian phantasmoagoria of symbols found its way into USian advertising and 'entertainment', but that is not the same thing, from a scientific point of view, as 'brainwashing', which deals with individuals.

I think arguments like this can be used to demolish the whole of Coleman's "Conspirators' Hierarchy", which is what Nico is fundamentally basing his theory upon.

Gravatar "Satanism, mind control, sexual abuse of children, the ‘occult’ and its most charismatic figures, and UFOs"
Yes, just pile it up and make it seem like a bunch of crap.

Gravatar RB, I wonder why would you spend so much time on dignifying a small-time juvenile heckler like Nico Haupt.

With his "no planes" theory, and his vociferous invocations of Tavistock, FBI etc, he seems rather like a planted instigator himself; and IMO a rather inarticulate one.

The esoteric undercurrents of the 9-11 Truth Movement have little interest other than as disinfo fronts. I fail to see why a non-entity like Haupt may deserve attention.

Gravatar OK RB, I agree. But surely gov. propaganda dept. deal with mass "brainwashing". Some would say that's what religion does.

"The esoteric undercurrents..." careful here X because people reading this blog, would say there are esoteric undercurrents.

Gravatar Point taken, Me.

I meant that some of the Movement's undercurrents are esoteric and outlandish; not that all are.

Gravatar What a crock of bull. This is not a discussion; this is "Berkeley" dialoguing with hisself.

There are any number of websites like yours, RB.

Poor 'wad. Hope the pay is decent, at least.

Gravatar Off topic, but it shows the linguistic (ab)use so prevalent in MSM, this from WaPo: Copter Attacks In Iraq May Indicate New Battle Strategy, in essence about "our poor choppers being attacked by those Ali Babas (who let them into the country, anyway)".

The helicopter getting attacked?
an Apache attack helicopter was downed north of the capital, killing its crew of two

Gravatar When Zimf says that a theory should be "falsifiable", he/she probably means "testable" ...
lobro | 02.20.07 - 11:09 pm | #

I spent some time thinking about this theory of Xymph's, misled by the word "falsifiable". My guess is that writer's block kept the word "refutable" just out of reach ... (until about 20 seconds/minutes after he published).

Gravatar War Nerd has some very unflattering things to say about Apaches.

Gravatar The notion of "falsifiability" comes from Karl Popper in his book "conjectures and refutations".

Valid scientific propositions must be able to be proven false. If not, they are mere articles of belief.

Gravatar Engdahl's article is basically the pot calling the kettle black. Distasteful as Bush's foreign policy may be to many, me included, there is a paragraph in Engdahl's article that he should have expanded on:

During the years of the breakup of the Soviet Union "Russia never let go of its one trump card, it's strategic nuclear force."

"During the entire economic chaos of the Yeltsin years Russia never stopped producing state-of-the art military technology."

Nor has Putin ever made a secret of the fact that he views the breakup of the Soviet Union as the greatest catastrophe of Russian history. This view is not lost on those countries that could not wait to get out of the bear's enforced embrace. There is a reason why the same countries are beating down NATO's door.

There has often been a tendency for these "strategic" thinkers to consider Russia, the US and perhaps a few other larger countries as subjects, and all the other countries as object, who are supposed to somehow fit into the larger countries "spheres of influcence". Countries such as Poland do have a history, they do have their own national interests, why should they not be allowed to make their own choices? The reason Poland is allowing the missiles in is for a very prosaic reason. It has already enjoyed the warm embrace of the Russian bear. Or to put it very plainly, it, along with all of Russia's neighbors, fears Russia. It fears Russia a lot more than it does the neocons.

The fact that Bush can "look you in the eye and lie" is more than true of Putin. He too can look you in the eye and lie.

Gravatar lobro, according to Sudanese Christians that I have met in the GTA, they tell me that the war is not religious, but over the dividing of natural resources, and national assets. Sudan is 75% Muslim, mostly in the North and West and Central regions. At the same time, the Muslims in Ethiopia, who are a strong majority - 65% of the population, are often under-represented by the Amhara and Tigre Christian tribes, who have most of the wealth and power. Same thing with Tanzania - Muslim majority (65% of population), but Christians own power and most wealth. The war in Sudan is over the equal division of resources and power, which the Arab Muslims in the North tend to hog most of the time.

Similarly, the Somalis in Ogaden, Ethiopia were fighting against central government for that same reason, and same thing with the Muslim populations in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Whatever the case may be in Africa, the strifes there are based upon prejudice, bias, and discrimination, and other factors (like clan loyalties) - not necessarily religious.

One more thing - it is amazing how the Hillel and other Jewish/Zionist groups are pretending to support the rights of the Darfur Muslims. It seems to me that their agenda is to break up Africa's largest country - which surprisingly is filled with an Arab ruling elite (40% of Sudan's population identify themselves as Arabic).

Gravatar it is amazing how the Hillel and other Jewish/Zionist groups are pretending to support the rights of the Darfur Muslims

Well Salman, piggybacking on some existing situation that can be made into a conflict is their normal MO.

Gravatar To lobro:

I chose to stop posting to "fatoldjewishguy" mainly because I could not escape the conclusion that having the fact of my been born "Jewish" does not and should not make anything I say more important or relevant than anything anyone else would say.

I won't take the blog down becuase people still go there but my blogs are
www.democratsinairplanes.blogspot.com and
www.acsmustbestopped.com.

Thanks for the kind words.

Gravatar Xenopile, "Valid scientific propositions must be able to be proven false. If not, they are mere articles of belief." So where would that leave gravity? A myth? Proving something in general is very, very difficult which is why in a court of law beyond a reasonable doubt exists.

Gravatar Hey Gene, good to hear from you and I am sure glad that you're still in business.
It is true that your being Jewish has (as it shouldn't have) any impact on whether a statement is true or not and moreover, if for example you lost weight (maybe switched to a bycicle ), your bloghandle would be misleading.

I will definitely follow up on your leads.
Keep on trucking!

Gravatar here in Toronto we have a priceless guy by name of Mendelson Joe (used to be Joe Mendelson).
When people asked him why he changed his name, he said: "so you can't tell that I am jewish".
He used to lead an excellent band in the seventies, McKenna Mendelson Mainline, then switched to painting harrowing scenes full of social content.
An inimitable character.

Gravatar the struggle in Darfur is over land/water by the Arab nomads and african tribes - Janjaweed is CIA/Mossad funded/directed... this is a conflict instigated from the outside. Luckily the Sudanese have Chinese troops stationed there to make sure the Zionists and their allies don't do any monkey business. Sudan and Iran ain't Zionist playground like Iraq or Filastin.

Well RB, we know how the tribe posed as "humanitarians" when they went to bomb Serbs in 92 and 99.

Gravatar lobro, there are Jewish individuals who may be great as persons, but the leading mob is filled with devils.

Gravatar I agree with you Salman.
I'd hate to be Jewish for that very reason and I do sympathise greatly with the real humans among them who are treated with contempt by their own kind and suspicion by others.
But you can't choose your parents, you are what you are and I am what I am (to quote Popeye).
I do what i consider the right thing to do, which is to extend benefit of doubt rather than poison of suspicion - let everyone be judged by their deeds, not by their looks or family names.
This is Canadian ideal that has unfortunately been polluted lately.

Gravatar If I had to vote for my #1 Canadian, that wouldn't be David Suzuki, Pierre Trudeau,Terry Fox or Tommy Douglas, deserving as they are.
It would be Maher Arar, who despite the horrific ordeal that he has been put through, retained his manhood and generosity of spirit.
He has done more to shame neocons, zionist and christian than any amount of screaming and yelling.
Except you'll tell me they have no shame, I know, I know.
They have no shame because they are not human.

Gravatar "The difficulty is to try and teach the multitude that something can be true and untrue at the same time."
Schopenhauer

Gravatar "...my been born "Jewish" does not and should not make anything I say more important or relevant..." interesting that Mr. Weixel would choose the words more important or relevant rather than less important or less relevant. It is hard to get one's head out of the superiority mode.

Gravatar That was Me not Anonymous

Gravatar >>>I want to know why specific Establishment voices, like Carter and Brzezinski, are marginalized if the American Establishment actually runs everything.

Gravatar Hey

What happened to Anonymous' earlier entry re what the whole plan of Israel's plan is?

Gravatar It is a tough call, trying to do or say the right thing, Me.

Consider what someone else's reaction may have been had he put it the other way around:
"...my been born "Jewish" does not and should not make anything I say less important or relevant...".
In fact, I'd be the first to wonder whether he exhibited latent hostility, i.e., had a chip on his shoulder.
No?

Moreover, put yourself in his shoes for a minute.
It is tough even for us to be righteous about calling Zionism out on its crimes against humanity, the rest of the goys are cowed and staring fixedly at the ground.
Imagine how tough it must be for a Jew (unless it's in a designated gatekeeper role, like Chomsky).
A pariah among your own people, a forever mistrusted stranger among strangers.
A few racist encounters and you are ready to bolt back to your fold, your hatred of goys steady now.

As for me (lobro), I'd rather overlook 10 stalking horses than unjustly malign one person willing to speak truth to power, because lowlife are dime a dozen but good ones are rare.

Gravatar I can imagine this lobro. I imagine it every day. You know, being the black sheep and all..

Gravatar Well lobro that's one take on it but why did he feel it necessary to even identify the fact that he is Jewish. His web address didn't identify the fact he is a taxi driver. What did he stand to gain from telling us he's Jewish?
I think it is because being Jewish gives him a shield to criticize other Jews. He's being open minded or introspective, liberal, brave for daring to suffer alienation from his fellow Jews. Now if you or I speak out we're racist, anti-Semites, Nazis, close minded, uneducated ... the list goes on. We would for sure get it from all sides Goy and Jew. It is not a special thing for him to do what is right simply because his fellow Jews do not. It may be unusual but it is not special. I would probably like the guy myself if I met him, but I don't think he's braver then you simply because he's Jewish. His words betray his mindset.
Also consider the hard time you,re giving me because I criticized a Jew.

Gravatar Karl MARX, his voluminous works have been used by the communist regimes and revolutionary students as a theory against capitalism, but sadly turned out to be a dead end road, a vaste waste of time and cigarettes, and a nuisance. Voluminous and dialectical, they are difficult to refute. Konrad Löw as a political scientist just wants to show this.
Marx value of the ware, beeing the amount of labor employed is to simple, the more modern theory of `market value´ is also outrun by financial and currency speculations. It is `funny´ how even on a communal level today they swarm around an`investor´ who is nothing but a speculator pretending to have credit options from some bank. These rascals deal and disown communal goods, factories, that are the basis of a living of communities. They, also the money, seem to set the rules - globaly. It´s immoral by all earlier standards. Their famous sentence: "the market regulates everything" was answered by P.Scholl-Latour: "this is the same as saying, death regulates everything".
Many believe Marx was a great humanist, Löw is pointing out that Marx aim was the destruction of the christian, german or civil society and to have a bloody dictatorship. In the Communist Manifest is said: "Communists dont put the moral demand to people: love one another, don´t be egoists.. they know in contrary very well that egoism as well as sacrifice are.. a necessary means for individuals to prevail." One class against the other to destroy society.

Gravatar Sorry, Me, the idea was not to give you a hard time but to give a sign of appreciation to someone reaching across the fence into what is normally considered a hostile territory.

There is always that fear of outright rejection, so it is not the most opportune time to point out the guy's sweaty armpit (even if that is the case, which it isn't here).

I've been reading his blog for some time and he is bang on, imo.

Gravatar Fritz, there is one marxist text which I recommend, and that is "Finance Capital" by Rudolf Hilferding. I believe this book offered the necessary corrective or expansion to Marx's theory, which it did by positing another category of capital, viz
FICTITIOUS CAPITAL

Gravatar Xenophile | 02.21.07 - 1:12 pm | #

Thanks for the clarification. I'm not familiar with Popper's work nor his careless misuse of words in the interests of obscurity, or to draw attention to himself.

"Valid scientific propositions must be able to be proven false. If not, they are mere articles of belief."

That statement obscures the crux of Xymph's theory (which is that a soundly-based theory can be used as a tool for making reliable predictions) by putting the cart before the horse. The proposition is that a good theory must be based on lobro's 'testable' (and/or Xymph's accessible/proven/observable) facts. Then one may begin to draw conclusions based on those facts. The issue of 'falsifiability/testability/refutability arises not from the facts and conclusions alone, but from the transparent, fact-based process thru which the theory evolved. Thus, if new and contrary facts emerge, they can be applied, by anybody, to the original transparent process. Similarly, the discovery of a flaw in the process, by anybody, would render the theory refutable.

"Falsifiability" is too emotive a word and implies freedom to attach a negative slur to a refuted theory. If a new fact emerged which involved modifying our previous understanding of gravity, this wouldn't render the existing theory false. All it would do is demonstrate that it was incomplete in its previous form.

Einstein did this twice to Newton/Kepler's theories. Once in relation to the precession of a particular planet, and again when observation proved AE's prediction that gravity bends light. But no-one even suggested that these insights rendered Newton/Kepler's theories "false".

Gravatar A theory is falsifiable (cf Popper) if it makes a prediction that could turn out to be true or false. The theory of gravity is falsifiable because it predicts that if I drop this apple it will hit the ground. If the apple stays suspended in the air that would falsify the theory.

Good theories are falsifiable. Xymph's theory is falsifiable because it makes a prediction that Iran will not be bombed. If Iran is bombed then the theory will have been falsified.

Astrology on the other hand is non-falsifiable, because regardless of what happens it is able to explain it. It does not make bold predictions that can turn out to be false.

Xymph's point is that the bad conspiracy theories are non-falsifiable. Regardless of what happens they can be used to explain the event after the fact.

Gravatar Three strike groups including the Stennis, the Eisenhower and the Nimitz are being deployed in the Persian Gulf. According to Gulf News, "The Stennis strike group... is now strengthening a high level of US Navy presence in the Gulf. The Stennis and the carrier Dwight D. Eisenhower, already in the region, will soon be joined by the carrier Nimitz." (Gulf News, 21 Feb 2007).

Gravatar Hoarsewhisperer, at first sight the term falsifiability may sound 'emotional' and inacurate. But when refering to the validity of propositions, it is a technical term, a tool to avoid error.

Poppers “falsifiability criterion” imposes humility and discipline to scientific inquiry by rejecting dogmas and hidden assumptions.

Under this method, you make a proposition or a postulate, generally in the 'if...then...' format. Then you seek exceptions to this postulated rule.

If you -or the scientific community at large- cannot provide contradictory evidence, then this is taken as corroboration of the validity of your postulate or theory.

For Popper, empirical sciences must adhere to the falsifiability criterion. If not, you end up in the waste basket of pseudosciences like historical materialism, astrology, and psychoanalysis.

Gravatar Conspiracy theory is really a terrible word; 'conspiracy analyses' is better but still odious, IMO. Every social theorist presupposes collusion between actors, conspiracy is just another word for 'social interaction'. It's a matter of degree.

I doubt however, that conspiracy theorists has the power to change the term, but maybe we could force a change of meaning. If people ask me of my political views, I say I'm a conspiracy theorist, insisting it's as real a political viewpoint as most others.

This gradual change of meaning is happening to 'terrorism' and 'anti-semitism'. Even if they are still negatively loaded, they are beginning to attain ironical connotations.

Falsifiability and predictability are not possible in social sciences. (And they are not connected) You can't even quantify, you can't control data. If you say Iran will not be bombed, it's not a falsifiable theory. It's a thesis that might be true or not. I won a case of beer when the US invaded Afghanistan, and I could talk all night about why I was right, but nobody on this earth, up to and including Richard Cheney, would be able to formulate a falsifiable theory as to WHY Afghanistan was invaded.

Conspiracy 101: you can't know reality.

And Gott im Himmel! What is it with X. and Chomsky? Come on, X., has Chomsky really deserved special attention?

Gravatar The difference between social and natural science is well illustrated with the case of Newton. When Newton published Principia, the world changed almost overnight. Radically and permanently. Social science is more like fashion, it's a never ending battle of discourses.

Gravatar While social sciences cannot have the same degree of predictability as, say, physics, it is still possible to have some degree of predictability and falsifiability.

For example, consider the theory that Zionists control America. This would be falsified if America adopts a foreign policy position that are detrimental to Israel or Jewish interests, in the face of opposition from Jewish voices.

Gravatar There is no theory of Zionist control of America. Just a thesis.

Gravatar Many theses, in fact.

Gravatar Similarly the theory that 9/11 was orchestrated by Israel is falsifiable. Similarly the theory that 9/11 was orchestrated by a group of Saudis is also falsifiable.

Gravatar If I see a car on the street I might say: "This guys will run the red light". I may be right, I may be wrong, it's not a theory.

Gravatar If both are falsifiable and only one of them can be right, why has the other one not been disproven yet?

Gravatar If I'm a therapist, I have this patient, a pathological drunk driver and sociopath with a known disdain for rules, especially traffic rules... I give him a new Ferrari and tells him to fire away. I might suspect he will speed drive, but no matter how much I knew about my patient, I could never predict human behaviour.

Trying to impress the methods of natural science upon social science is just plain wrong. You might as well try to predict poetry or falsify music.

Gravatar ... I'm not saying predicting social phenomena is impossible per se, there may be a Principia of the social sciences still to be written, but there are today no theory of the social, that makes scientific statements possible.

Gravatar Erik,

* social capital which represents the trust we put in our civilization as a source of assistance in solving life's problems (and holds teams or so-called 'human capital' together),
* financial (or 'economic') capital which represents our relative standing (within that society) w.r.t. our provision of solutions to others' problems, as measured against raw energy which provides an absolute basis.
* natural (ecosystems) and
* individuals (or even 'human assets'!) which may be shaped and have their life used by societies but are not 'owned' by them, and
* instructional ('ideas' or 'codes' or 'rules' or 'firm specific human capital') and
* infrastructural (or 'physical') resources (e.g. tools) which represent ready-made solutions to common problems already encountered by others, and which we may draw on without need for individual example, additional natural resources, or any significant social trust (all of this having gone into its creation).

Gravatar I still like the word "testable" by way of the following example.
Let's take our recurring topic, namely, the theory of Jewish domination of American decision making.
This can be tested in numerous ways, for example: take a category or a cluster of categories such as campaign managers, congressional and W/H aides and advisers, TV analysts and commentators and think-tank talking heads.
Let's suppose that there are 5000 of them and parsing them by ethnicity determines that 3500 are Jewish.
If Afro-Americans clamor that they are under represented by having only 100 such policy wonks and the national census determines that 35% of Americans are black as opposed to 2% Jewish, then you have your 2x2 contingency table as follows:

---------US pop (%) policy wonks (%)
blacks------35---------2
Jews---------2--------35

The "null" hypothesis of proportional representation can be tested by any number of statistical tests and I would think that they would all soundly reject the null, thus establishing statistical significance (i.e., high degree of probability that the hypothesis of Jewish domination is correct).
In this way, one progresses from a single hypothesis to theory comprising many interlinked and testable hypotheses, all of which together present a comprehensive picture of what is going on.

Gravatar I already see an error in the above table, it should have been
35---2
-2--65 which would be even more unbalanced (essentially one checks the "balance", are things as expected?)

Also, the above table would only establish disproportional representation of blacks viz Jews, but it is easily modifiable by replacing "blacks" by "everybody else", thus yielding
98---35
-2---65
table which would still result in the heavy rejection of the null.

Gravatar tsjie-ie-ie-iezzzz, yall stopped size-reduction and swallowed yar warwent words already? Come on, answer now, who's feeding whom to whom and wallows in which warrisome words where?

Given you'd think some of us would be fed up with burnished earnings and turn away from them, thus

Was starting to wonder how long it would take before the interMSMinable glorification of the offal slop we get fed would be enough and we'd turn on them by turning them of, thus disabusing 'our' boozillion dollar media (ever so precious in their own eyes) of their own lies..

If you do need a last push though, listen to peacetrain (micro)radio arkansas and troubadour 1700 for instance instead, to wise up the few cents worth it takes to decide on even loftier campaign aims - bring law enforcement to their senses, turn the white house into a garden patch, .. etcetera.

Gravatar Blen,
(a) A theory is falsifiable (cf Popper) if it makes a prediction that could turn out to be true or false.

(b) Xymph's point is that the bad conspiracy theories are non-falsifiable. Regardless of what happens they can be used to explain the event after the fact.
Blen | 02.22.07 - 1:32 am | #

(a) expresses the 'falsifiable' concept in a way even I can understand...
(b) was clear to me from the outset.
Thanks Blen & Xenophile for your indulgence.

So ... would a better term for conspiracy theory be Coincidence Theory? Or is Coincidence Theorist the term which describes people who give Conspiracy Theory a bad name? We could decide the issue and make it official. Right here and right now...

Gravatar I suppose we could use the same standards to ANY theory ie: something not proven yet, as compared to the laws of thermodynamics.
Apply that to Evolution, Relativity etc and you have plausible arguments being made on both sides, otherwise you'd be calling it Darwin or Einstein's laws by now.
I think the operative word is Belief; some believe (without ever having been to the moon) that Man walked there, and others, to be fair, believe that 6 million Jews died a very long time ago, (others believe the figures to be exagerrated) and many also believe that the Israelis and/or the US committed 9/11. Cool.
Question people's belief systems, now that should get you a response!

Gravatar Truth to tell, if I thought that my posts or idea (and often it's other people's posts and ideas) count for nothing I wouldn't bother to post them. Would you?

Actually I started a website about being a taxi driver but abandoned it. Lately I've been toying with the idea of starting it up again.

I've been wrestling with this whole "jewish identity" thing. By my face, my accent, body language anyone who is a student of "who is a jew," who cares about that will id me anyhow. So there would be a dishonesty (and stupidity) to trying to deny it, yet I was wrong to make more of it than I should have, so I walked away from the name "fatoldjewishguy". Also I think there actually is a tradition of "ex" or "anti" jews like Marx for example or even I. Shamir or G. Atzmon, that is really quite jewish. In other words an "ex" Jew is another kind of Jew.

So here is the taxi blog-
http://newyorkcabbie.blogspot.com/

And I spent over ten years as a dissident and whistle blower inside New York's so called "Child Protective" machine and I blog about that too.

www.acsmustbestopped.com

I just don't have an answer to this "Jewish" thing. As my own life goes I don't live among or work among many Jews, living in a housing project in Harlem and driving taxi for a fleet.

Before I worked for "Child Protective Services" I had been a taxi driver for around 13 years and I estimate I had had around 100,000 trips more or less. Out of all those people I can recall 4 who tried to give me some kind of hard time explicitly because I was "Jewish" which I see as a statistically not significant rate of incidence. (One was clearly Jewish and disturbed himself).

I find that even "anti Jewish" individuals in general don't go out of their ways to bother me. I think Jews who make an effort to live among others respectfully get more the welcome mat than scorn.

Gravatar Perhaps the solution is to regard yourself as the descendent of people on whom an ideology of Judaism, and then a succession of ideologies all contingent on the first one, were imposed.

The Jewish dialectician would say, aren't the other religions 'imposed' too?

To which I would reply that Judaisms have throughout history behaved more like cults, imposing effectively hereditary membership by means of blackmail and deception.

The psychology of thinking you can only escape Judaism (which is far more, or far less, than a religion) by converting to another religion, as Shamir did, is very limiting.

Gravatar I believe, without ever having been to Los Angeles, that people have walked there.

Gravatar Sorry to contradict you smekhovo but i have been to Los Angeles and assure you (based on eyewitness evidence) that people only drive there.

Gravatar Rowan, do you think that there are parallels between Jews in the West and Brahmins in India?

I note parenthetically that in both systems, Muslims either occupy the bottom rung or are in fact the repository of the disaffected and disenfranchised classes tired of the same old, same old.

And the goys are dumb, uncomprehending tourists ...

Gravatar I think that there is a tendency among Diaspora Jews to think of themselves as members of a global caste. However, like a lot of Jewish ideas, this one is half baked.

Gravatar The problem is that people have been trained to swallow half baked stuff.
A few of us are gagging and spitting in open.

Gravatar Eugene, Thank you for your explanation. I think I have good ideas and I share them when people ask or in an open forum like this. You have a very good friend in Lobro. I will remain respectably skeptical at least for now. If I think I see you, I'll wave.

Gravatar Lobro, I(the goy)am neither dumb nor uncomprehending...now stop that.

Gravatar ME neither.

I was referring to the majority who:
1) hide under their beds at every Orange Alert,
2) who watch Fox News and Michele Malkin to find out what's going on,
3) who while hanging Stars+Stripes the size of an average Bed-Stuy's family flat subscribe wholeheartedly to Patriot Act,
4) who waddle obesely in Freeport, Bahames wearing "The Home of The Brave" t-shirts on bloated guts,
5) who drive Yukons and think those "damn Ayrabs" are stealing their rightful America oil,
and on and on, you get my point.

In the same vein, I don't get offended by Ugly American label, since I know I don't qualify and neither do you.

As long as Zionists think of us as cattle and we don't respond, well, if the shoe fits, we gotta wear it.
So, I think you'll hear me (lobro, not you, me) expostulating on that theme in future and I hope that you understand where I'm coming from.

Gravatar And all the people with courage to face the truth, no matter how uncomfortable, have a friend in Lobro.

Unfortunately, the truth is as endangered today as the unpolluted air and water (any connection, I wonder).

Gravatar lobro, The Brahmins.
In the Chandogya- Upanisad 4.4.1 is said, that Satyakama Jabala asked his mother, he wanted to go to a teacher to study the holy knowledge. What caste he would belong to? (it was only allowed to Brahmins) She answered she had slept with many men and did´nt know it.. As he came to the teacher, he did´nt hide it as she had recomended, but told him so. The teacher answered, since he had said the truth he must be a Brahmin....
This tells us that only a true seeker will learn and that this caste-problem was known in the old days and solved.

Gravatar I knew what you meant Lobro, I was just jerking your chain.

That is a very good story Fritz

Gravatar Yes, a great story, only as it applies to our discussion it is the negative image: "since you told the truth, you can't be a Zionist".

Gravatar ...astonished to find the (original) story at once, I must add, history of India is complicated and no overlook to the caste -problem available. But this story tells something.. then: Ghandi and the untouchables. And did´nt have anyone access to Yoga or to become Saddhu,I dont know. But to become Zionist is the other direction.

Gravatar For a subjective view of the world open your eyes and look around.

For an objective view of the world close your eyes and look inside.

Gravatar India is the only country of the great nations in history to still exist as it existed all those thousands of years ago.

Gone is Ra, Isis, and Horus.
Gone are Zeus, Hera and Hermes.
Gone are Jupiter, Juno and Mercury.
Gone are Odin, Thor and Loki.

How obvious is it their Fathers and Mothers still remain? Not as myth, mystery, nor come and go idols pushed away by progress, technology and the omnipresent Jewish superstition of a God of fear and racism supreme, but instead a God of a million names, none of which have yielded.

Gravatar Actually Ra and Isis have not left yet. The religion of the pharoahs is alive and well in Joliet, Illinois.

Here is a picture of Her Holiness Hekatawy I, current Nisut-bityt of the Kemetic Orthodox Religion:

Gravatar To "Me"-

It's good to be skeptical. I'll get into some trouble perhaps with what I am going to say, but I think Jews as "outsiders" in but not quite of the societies in which they live have at some times played at least a partially progressive role. (Unless you beleive that the society you have is the best of all possible worlds, then they are pure and simple trouble makers.)

I think their (my) problem is that they (we, me) can't quite see things as they are or as they appear to vastly greater numbers of people. So for instance the weatherpeople of the sixties, who were not sufficiently reality based (yet driven nuts by reality anyhow) but of whom I am fond and most of whom were Jews, went to war (or thought they did) with the US government out of outrage over the genocide being done in Indochina and the assasinations of Black Panther Party leaders and activists (who at the time I greatly admired). A little bit down the line and the Panthers were telling them "later for your stupid revolution" meaning the Weathers didn't understand spit from shinola and the Panthers were not planning on going down in flames with and for them. (They went down in flames more or less anyhow but that's a different matter.)

I think Jews probably just should not lead movements, but should be good soldiers in them. For example had the Weathers subordinated themselves to and followed the lead of the (more reality based) Panthers things might have turned out better, surely would not have turned out worse.

Gravatar To Eugene

Yes, you are going to get into some trouble.

Jews choose to be outsiders. You assimilate just enough to blend in but not so much to lose your “country club” status, by this I mean you are able to use your connections with other Jews to gain advancement, nepotism. With your mother’s milk you taught that you were different, more progressive, a little bit smarter then the “others”. That comes across very loudly in your post.

“Unless you believe that society…” this is a ridiculous statement with which you are trying to frame the argument and I reject it. No thinking person would ever say any society was the best of all possible worlds. So let’s just put that to bed. “…Partially progressive role.” Yes I agree with that statement. The key word is partially. Jews tear down traditions but they don’t build up. The rubble is left on an empty lot and then the rats move in.

I think your leaders see things very clearly. I think the rank and file Jew does not. Why did the Jews think they needed to help the Blacks? The Blacks can see things for themselves, they know what needs to be done, and they will do it THEIR way, in their own time. What I’m saying is quit meddling in everyone else’s business.

If the Jews could lead anything, Israel wouldn’t be in such a mess.

Look, the rank and file Jew is no worse than any other person, but he is no better either. Jews should get married, raise a family, love your family AND your neighbor. I know marriage isn’t for everyone, that’s another discussion. My point is just live your life and be happy.

I’m sure there is a lot you would disagree with in this thesis. But I’ll keep thinking and if you keep thinking may be at some point we will come to an amicable agreement.

Best wish, Me

Gravatar Hp, "India is the only country of the great nations in history to still exist as it existed all those thousands of years ago."

I think the Pakistanis and the Bangladeshis might disagree. What are you smoking?

Gravatar Sorry Hp, that was me

Gravatar In the era of Ashoka dynasty, India must have seen the best combination of power, security, tolerance, enlightenment and prosperity anywhere, ever, in the best natural setting as well.
A traveler willing to shed delusions of his own culture's superiority and keeping his senses alert will catch glimpses of that gone magic.
It did not last, since no good things ever do and those halcyon days gave way to centuries of progressively more intrusive conquests by Arabs, Mongols and Europeans.
This must have bred tremendous humiliation and bitterness that is evident there today.
India is once and future mighty nation, struggling to retain its sanity in a world gone insane.

Gravatar The reason there was so much peace at the end of Ashoka rule was that he killed off anyone who was a threat or disagreed with him, even his brother. You don't expand empire without killing off a lot of people. I think this is W's plan.

Gravatar Couldn't lay my hands on anything better, so here's quoting the invaluable India Handbook (2000) published by UK's Footprint Books (in all my travels I found their books to be indispensable, far above the Lonely Planet crap).
So (selectively):
The greatest of Mauryan emperors, Asoka took power in 272 BC. He inherited the full blown empire but extended it further by defeating the Kalingans in modern Orissa [Me is right] before turning his back on war and preaching the virtues of Buddhist pacifism [lobro is right].
... Through the edicts Asoka urged all people to follow the code of dharma - translated by the Indian historian Romila Thapar as 'morality, piety, virtue and social order'. He established a special force of dharma officers to try to enforce the code, which encouraged [my bold] toleration, non-violence, respect for priests and those in authority and human dignity.

Somehow, replacing Asoka by George W. Bush, dharma by Patriot Act and dharma officers by Homeland Security doesn't do the trick for me.

Gravatar "The early part of Ashoka's reign was apparently quite bloodthirsty. Ashoka was constantly on the war campaign, conquering territory after territory and significantly expanding the already large Mauryan empire and adding to his wealth." Wikipedia

Ashoka felt guilty, he had all the wealth and power there was to have and then he found God. Nice.

George already knows God personally. Apparently they speak regularly. Now he's going for wealth and power.

But I will admit that Ashoka's relationship with God was probably true, so I'll defer to you.

Gravatar Dubya has ~18 months to try and catch up to Asoka, in which case I will defer to you, although the image of Chertoff as a dharma officer doesn't immediately spring to mind.

Gravatar Let's not give up on the Road to Damascus. Chertoff (son of the devil in Russian) may still have an epiphany! But I won't hold my breath.

Gravatar Hold your nose instead until he disappears into the same Tel Aviv sewer he came from.

Gravatar Me, Pakistan and Bangladesh aren't exactly ancient nations. Not only are they not great ancient nations but are in fact relatively new nations broken off from India.

Gravatar Precisely, that's why you can't claim this: "India is the only country of the great nations in history to still exist as it existed all those thousands of years ago." At one time India included the territory of Iran and Afghanistan too.
Nice map here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ashoka

Now if you're talking about the spirit of India, well I think the Chinese would argue with you there as well.

Gravatar hp, were are they gone, Odin, Thor and Loki? maybe for a walk; or we are occupied with trivial things, inattentive to see.
Their relatives may still live in India, in mountainious regions in Iran,Greece.. the ravens are flying, Hugin and Munin..
but pssst, psss, Grettir has gone to sleep in a hedge or to hekkenfeldt or in the mountain of glass.
What will you find, asking the runes,
the high holy,
whom gods made, highpriests wrote?
That nothing is better than silence.

Gravatar Wow

Gravatar Fritz: I have no idea what you just said but I like it.
I kinda miss Grettir-The-Character too.

I am ashamed to admit that my knowledge of Aryan sagas does not extend beyond Asterix and What's His Name comix, but the big guy with the axe is certainly in it.

And I like Grieg's Mountain Troll music too.

Long time ago, in Sikkim, a Tibetan teacher gave me a name; he liked me despite my obstinate skepticism.
I forgot my name but remember his: Karma Kala Rinpoche.
I think you would have made a much more attentive listener instead of wasting time on me.

Gravatar These are things I know nothing about, of course that never stops me from commenting...so keep talking so I learn something.

Hey, where did hp go?

Gravatar Oh, in my case it's nothing, I just attached myself to a party of earnest, enlightenment seeking Westerners at the advice of a friend in the group and observed the proceedings from a safe distance, so that only now, 30 years later I am starting to get it.

Much better to pay attention to what Fritz is saying ...

Gravatar lobro, Grieg´s Mountain Troll, I dont know yet, a good advise, thanks. To add for natures sake: Purcell: The fairy Queen, Sibelius and Anton Bruckner. Through music I have come to an understanding of the core of our culture. Well, sounds a little bit exaggerated, like my quoting northern Myths.I shure would like to know more. The old world was telling myths, a most complex system. It should´nt get lost.(the Rudolf Steiner people are more into it) also I was a bit pretending, not to be surprised, when Grettir wakes up-

Gravatar Hp, another Buddhist connection!

"His idea of the role of desire resembled that of Vedanta Hinduism and Buddhism, and Schopenhauer drew attention to these similarities."

Gravatar I don't think that sounds exaggerated Fritz. Music is like poetry, sometimes that is the best expression of an idea.

Gravatar "Music is the answer to the mystery of life. It is the most profound of all the arts; it expresses the deepest thoughts of life and being; a simple language which nonetheless cannot be translated."
Schopenhauer

Gravatar "In India, our religions will never at any time take root; the ancient wisdom of the human race will not be supplanted by events in Galilee. On the contrary, Indian wisdom flows back to Europe, and will produce a fundamental change in our knowledge and thought."
Schopenhauer

Gravatar One more Schopenhauer, if I may.

"Many learned persons have read themselves stupid."

Gravatar Whenever I hear much about the superiority of Western, or Eastern, civilisation, I listen to music.
Bach was as close to God as any Vedic sage, and here's another of my pleasures, hp. "Anand" (Bliss) by Snatam Kaur if you haven't already heard of her devotional music.

Gravatar Yes, Atlan Man, a little Ghandharva goes a long way..

Gravatar Fritz, I think that Grieg's suite is called "In The Hall of The Mountain King", there is a pasasage called "Anitra's Dance(?)", etc., pretty nordic sounding stuff, kind of Tolkien backdrop, if you get my drift.
And yes, I do like Sibelius and Bruckner too, quite evocative of Nature.

Moving on to MFA's comment, Bach is as close to perfection as ever a mortal came (although Ludwig Van's piano sonata 32 (Op 111) as played by Claudio Arau is Mt. Everest of human perception).

Next, hp, of course Shopenhauer is right and I am busy not-reading in order to preseve what gray matter there is.

Somewhat tangential to this last bit, I peeked at this heavily judaic haloscan thread
and staggered out with a vertigo due to their verbal barrage.

Man alive, do they talk! And talk and talk and then some more pyrotechnics, w/o ever saying a damn thing, all the while maintaining this snarky-superior-offended, yidischer-than-thou tone.

Gravatar I see that Kevin Barrett (a Muslim who frequently refers to the Holo event as a myth, while being careful to add this doesn't mean lie), has to some extent patched things up with Jon Gold (moderate Jew) and they have agreed to blame Rabinowitz (extreme Jew) for provoking the previous arguments:

Gravatar Rowan- Sure some Jews have gotten Baptized perhaps not for belief in Christ but for a desire to escape being Jewish, or to merge with the community they live among. I think that I. Shamir believes in Christ and so he joined a Christian church. I wish that we lived in a world where that would be that, but I don't think we do.

Gravatar To "Me" - I appreciate your reply. I think we agree in some sense. Personally I have not worked any Jewish network not in many a year at any rate perhaps because I'm a misfit even among them. Maybe some teachers and profs gave me breaks I wasn't aware of. I was a poor student and took ten years to get a Bachelor degree, mainly going to school at night. I got drafted, tried to beat it failed at that effort (no pull) did two years in the army, did not go to Vietnam not due to pull but due to a happy circumstance I never could have asked for or dreamed of that is described in a long story I wrote but won't bore you further with.http:// fatoldjewishguywholivesintheprojects.blogspot.com/ 2005/11/autobiographical-how-i-tripped-over.html

Working at Children's Services (reminding me of Will Rogers' understanding of the word "service") didn't take any pull and very few Jews were going into that job when I did. Most of my co workers were non whites either immigrants or first generation Americans.

Driving a taxi for a fleet required a few hundred dollars to take a mandatory class, drug screening, fingerprints and so forth. There are a few other Jews at my garage, they are people who are something other than "just taxi drivers" ("really" artists, starting a business, etc.) but they drive often for dollars so I guess they need the money like I do. There are a few white US born people who I guess are Christians too but most of the workers are not white, not born here and neither Christian nor Jew nor very well connected in this country.I guess I could say I'm "really" a blogger and just drive taxi for money but I never earned money blogging, oh well.

At any rate, where is this country club you speak of? Let me tell you about my country club-

I'll be the first to say that on a global scale my life is like that of a country club member, those of just about all US or Canadian or French or other imperial citizens are pretty plush. I can make more money driving a taxi in New York three or four nights than a chemical engineer can earn in a month in Venezuela. Shame isn't it?

Are we members of the same country club?

When I started that "Jewish" blog I got a lot of hits sometimes a thousand a day after I published a renunciation of my "right to return." At the time I thought that self identifying as Jewish "worked." What I got was lots of praise from some people, lots of damnation from others and nothing changed for the benefit of the Palestinians. Yes it ticked off a lot of zionists, which I surely wanted to do, but so what? The suffering and oppression of the Palestinans was not diminished one iota.

Gravatar Eugene this is the last I’m going to say about this because I don’t think you are hearing me.

Look Eugene if you want me to tell you you’re a nice guy I will tell you you’re a nice guy because you probably are. But everything you wrote proves my point. You are the exception that proves the rule.

Of course the Palestinians oppression was not diminished. Why would you think that Eugene Weixel’s writing would diminish it? You should write because it’s the RIGHT thing to do. Don ‘t expect rewards.

And don’t Eugene, ever throw “White” in my face. Not even in a back handed way. Your tribe has done very well by the Whites. This is a very Jewish ploy, the race card. Ask yourself, what makes you think I am white. You show you're prejudices by this.

No Eugene, we most definitely are not of the same club.

Gravatar I'm used to being a minority of one, it doesn't bother me. Nice guys are a dime a dozen.

You raised issues of my supposed access or use of Jewish connections and I hought it fair to reply in some detail.

I looked all over my posts. Where did I say that I thought you are white? I don't even know what country you are of.

I didn't complain about whites either. (Did I ? Where?) I said that I reside in a place where there is only one non Hispanic white residing, that being me, Eugene, and not you, whatever your name is.

I will say that if you are a citizen of the US or other imperialist "have" country, then yes you are in the same country club I am in.

As Groucho Marx once said I'd never join a club that would have me.

Gravatar Eugene is just being honest, and if he sounds identityless then this should not be construed as him trying to emotionally blackmail the reader - he is identityless, because he is trying to repudiate the most tenacious identity program in existence.

Gravatar HELP! I am being subjected to enormous lobbyological pressures!

Gravatar Eugene, I sincerely wish you the best.

Gravatar Hey, I came to this thread because someone had linked from it to my blog and I was curious as to why. Had I by naME not been a subject of conversation I'd have left all of you alone.

Me, I'm sure you're a nice person. I wish you all the best that life has to offer.

Rowan, I know you are brighter than I am because I don't understand anything of your last two posts.

Gravatar The most tenacious identity program in existence is each individual him/her self choosing to be a Jew, be a Christian, be an Arab, be a Hindu, be an American, be a Canadian, be a Brit. The identification with the body/mind as who we are, as opposed to our first and foremost "being" a spirit soul.

"As the body changes clothes, so the soul changes bodies."

And though this is the gist of most every religion, it is basically, practically, dismissed before it is even considered to "be" an accepted course of how to conduct our lives and treat one another. Not to mention the lower animals as well.

Gravatar 'lobbyological pressures' was just a joke based on the title of the thread.

Gravatar hp, I'm not ready to melt into the ether just yet.

Gravatar Me, all dressed up and nowhere to go?
Not at all..
The greatest gift of life and death is the retaining of our individual personality.

a perfect example is the Buddhists themselves, who do not fully understand just who the Buddha was, and is.
Though they are atheist impersonalists, they are tricked into
worship of the Supreme Personality, indirectly.
The Srimad Bhagavatam explains all this very thoroughly and

Schade dass ich nicht immer wach bin. Warte nur ab, der Grettir kommt. I trust in the gods, but first in my axe and right arm.
Child, you came to our country in search of a better life. Now you have it, so no more complaints, and build what you have joined.) I am astounded by the number of people who can believe in the devilry of a man because he is born with a Jewish name. Fuck it, I'll be the kike. Kick me, but remember to set it aside when you need footsoldiers.

Fritzchen, erinnere Dich ein Bißchen an den alte Fritz
