The contract is estimated at $1.5-2 billion over 15-20 years, Israel's business daily Globes has reported earlier this month. Years ago I watched my Yorkie terrier step onto a fire ant mound in High Park.
Nothing happened, he kept walking, then all of a sudden gave a yelp and flipped on his back, almost passed out.
The ants apparently got on board then on a count of three (or something), they stung simultaneously.
Apparently, they can put away much bigger animals that way.
The pooch learned his lesson.
His name was Fritz, btw.

regarding human priorities, I believe the foremost question is the Jewish question, just like you lobro - but its weird when many people (like Glen Davis) spend their $$$ saving animals - I had a humane society guy knock on my door yesterday asking me to donate to save our all-so precious killer whales...which is great. But when will people start helping in larger numbers the poor and needy who are suffering?
