It does work. And it's everyone's job to de-stigmatise it as pro-Palestinian. The arguments against being pro-Pal (or pro anything else for that matter), and anti-collective punishment, are unsustainable in an extended debate in a nominally Christian society.

The crux of the argument is that if being in favour of releasing the Pals from their crocodile tears-wielding Zionist exterminators and tormentors is anti-semitic, then the Jews have got a problem ... an outrageously Shylock-ish cheapskate problem.

Theft in the company of lies ain't Justice.

Gravatar One of the undeniable facts on the ground about Israel's propaganda (and same goes for War on Terror propaganda) is that it's based on what one could describe as Party-trick logic. One has to be half-pissed or brain-dead to fall for it. It just does NOT stand up to scrutiny. The Zionists are going to start bitterly regretting their heavy reliance on sly stunts and cheap tricks.

I think it’s come to this: there’s a bunch of little David’s who’ve finally found a trove of slingshots and a stoning has begun. Yonder, yet breaking the horizon, are the twin Cyclops heads of the ugly hydra whose uber-scorn is about to be requited in lizards, e.t.a. soon. A boycott hardly demands a telegraphed punch: a silent decision is but ‘a silent decision.’ It’s a foolish demonstration of but one fallacious hallmark of democracy: “democracy is choice.” Au contraire mon dolts [yo ‘nation’]: “democracy is truth.” I wouldn’t chortle through tulips with an ungainly placard proclaiming my truth; I’d simply marvel at the wonderful choices ‘democracy’ has afforded me and exercise my options accordingly.

but after a while people would realize what a crock of shit the anti-Semitic label was and how it's only wheeled out for those who raise their voices against the Zionist murderers or for those who genuinely give a damn about the extermination of the Palestinians, the bravest people in the world.

One day, perhaps soon, people will begin to say, "I've always hated that shitty little country, with its army of dalek spokespeople, and I'm so glad so many people now agree. Thank God for those brave souls who got the ball rolling and made the boycott work in the first place."

Gravatar WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TRY AND BOYCOTT ISRAEL

Here's an example of what happens when you try and organize a boycott of Israel. For brevity's sake, I have made extensive cuts and capitalized certain words for emphasis. This article appeared in the Guardian on Tuesday May 30 2006.

"Britain's largest lecturers' union yesterday voted in favour of a boycott of Israeli lecturers and academic institutions who do not publicly dissociate themselves from Israel's "apartheid policies".

Delegates at the annual conference of the National Association of Teachers in Further and Higher Education backed the proposal, despite mounting international pressure from those opposed to a boycott, including a petition from more than 5,000 academics and a plea from the ISRAELI GOVERNMENT.

The decision [to boycott] was greeted with disappointment and anger by anti-boycott campaigners.

The motion criticised "Israeli apartheid policies, including construction of the exclusion wall, and invited members to "consider the appropriateness of a boycott."

After failed efforts to prevent the debate, speakers outlined the litany of difficulties experienced by Palestinian students and lecturers living under occupation, including the number of Palestinian schools shelled by the Israeli army.

"The majority of Israeli academics are either complicit or acquiescent in their government's policies in the occupied territories," said Tom Hickey, a philosophy lecturer. "Turning a blind eye to what an Israeli colleague thinks about the actions of their government is a culpable blindness."

Delegate John Morgan said there was no academic freedom for Palestinians.

But the union's general secretary, Paul Mackney, spoke against the motion: "Most of us are very angry about the occupation of Palestine," he said, "but this isn't the motion and THIS ISN'T THE WAY. You cannot build a boycott on conference RHETORIC."

Natfhe delegate Ronnie Fraser, chair of Academic FRIENDS OF ISRAEL, said he was "NOT HAPPY AT ALL", adding that the vote brought "DISHONOUR AND SHEER RIDICULE UPON THE UNION."

Aharon Ben-Ze'ev of Haifa university told the Guardian he was "VERY DISAPPOINTED" [at the boycott vote], adding: "This will only serve to IMPEDE THE PEACE PROCESS and STRENGTHEN EXTREMISM."

David Hirsh [a Jewish opponent of the boycott proposal], said "If you organise an academic boycott of Israeli Jewish academics but no one else in the world, THAT IS AN ANTI-SEMITIC POLICY."

The idea to boycott Israeli academics, supported by a MAJORITY, was shot down in flames. The Enemy won. Yet again.

Addendum to the above: Nothing is going to work except a radical solution.

1. First the mass media must be wrested from the all-enveloping tentacles of international Jewry.

2. This can only be accomplished through the confiscation of Jewish assets. This has been done before in history. The wealth of the Jews was confiscated by the Princes before their expulsion from a number of countries. (Note: the confiscation of Jewish wealth would be fair and selective, leaving ordinary good Jews alone, i.e. Morris the Tailor and his ilk.)

3. The selective confiscation of Jewish assets can only be brought about by a military coup comparable to the coups of the early Roman Empire.

Here lies the solution then: a military coup. Soon may it come. We await the world's rescuer.

Gravatar Xanadu | 05.01.08 - 10:41 am

Gravatar Boycott is a valuable communication tool and an essential element of democracy.
There is public boycott and the private one, which I have been pursuing for years.
Simply publicizing lists of businesses, enterprises and products would enable private boycotters to leave an indelible mark and convince legislators of where electorate stands.
Such lists could be posted on internet, maybe some wikipedia lookalike.

Gravatar In fact, I know how to prevent such sites from being canned by authorities:
they should exhort customers to buy the listed products with helpful slogans, like
'Be a good noahide goy and buy it, all proceeds go to settlements! Settlements good! Israel good! Zionism good!'
If the site was shut down, it could immediately scream antisemitism and sue for billions in lost revenue for jew businesses.

Gravatar Or you know what else would be right up their alley (they derive palpable satisfaction from giving to charity in itself, are masters of games and are always looking for phoney ways to prove their goodness) would be giving a small amount to Palestinian relief and then overcompensating elsewhere or setting up a phoney
Palestinian charity (like "Fatah").

What you say is correct. We Brits are easily intimidated. But what you have to understand is that this specialized emotion I call "rage-against-the-Jew" (nothing to do with anti-Semitism) is relatively weak in England. This is because we have a fairly small Jewish population here who keep a lower profile than the Jews of America do.

There is a groundswell of rage-against-the-Jew, and I'm not sure where its going to end. Given that anti-Semitism is actually promoted by the Jewish elite, who are never so happy as when they are hated, I sometimes wonder who is the angler and who is the fish.

Gravatar There are Jews out there who are not devoid of elementary common decency:

We’re not celebrating Israel’s anniversary
Letters, Guardian, Wednesday, April 30

In May, Jewish organisations will be celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of the state of Israel. We are Jews who will not be celebrating. Surely it is now time to acknowledge the narrative of the other, the price paid by another people for European anti-semitism. As Edward Said emphasised, what the Holocaust is to Jews, the Nakba is to Palestinians. In April 1948, the same month as the infamous massacre at Deir Yassin and the mortar attack on Palestinian civilians in Haifa’s market square, Plan Dalet was put into operation. This authorised the destruction of Palestinian villages and the expulsion of the indigenous population outside the borders of the state. We will not be celebrating. In July 1948, 70,000 Palestinians were driven from their homes in Lydda and Ramleh in the heat of the summer with no food or water. Hundreds died. It was known as the Death March. We will not be celebrating. In all, 750,000 Palestinians became refugees. Some 400 villages were wiped off the map. That did not end the ethnic cleansing. Thousands of Palestinians (Israeli citizens) were expelled from the Galilee in 1956. Many thousands more when Israel occupied the West Bank and Gaza. Under international law and sanctioned by UN resolution 194, refugees from war have a right to return or compensation. Israel has never accepted that right. We will not be celebrating. We cannot celebrate the birthday of a state founded on terrorism, massacres and the dispossession of another people from their land. We cannot celebrate the birthday of a state that even now engages in ethnic cleansing, that violates international law, that is inflicting a monstrous collective punishment on the civilian population of Gaza and that continues to deny to Palestinians their human rights and national aspirations. We will celebrate when Arab and Jew live as equals in a peaceful Middle East.

Very impressive. The Guardian makes a habit of publishing these multi-signatured letters from time to time, and of course it has the desired effect of discouraging "intemperate" criticism of Israel. The Board of Deputies of British Jews, whose constant wails and whines clutter up the columns of The Guardian, will remain silent on this occasion. They know that such letters help to promote its own secret agenda: the stifling of anti-Zionist sentiment and a more "nuanced", caring attitude towards Israel.

Gravatar I'm not saying the letter is insincere. I'm saying it won't help the Palestinians one little bit. They'll still be killing Palestinian children tomorrow.

Xanadu | 05.01.08 - 4:17 pm

Only time will tell, Xanadu.
The British academics seem to have committed a tactical blunder by looking at their boycott from the wrong perspective. My guess is that they put the cart ahead of the horse and focused prematurely, and too much, on the mechanics of boycott implementation.

They clearly failed to consider the seriousness of the impact on the intended targets and the logical, predictable, and completely understandable, tooth-and-nail response. They probably allowed themselves to be swayed by emotive accusations of 'gross unfairness' and, because they hadn't married themselves to the concept of fighting gross unfairness with gross unfairness, were made to feel sufficiently guilty about their plan, to vacillate for just long enough for the doubts to take hold and thus, while feeling they were 'losing' the debate, felt (temporarily) obliged to capitulate.

[One has to admire the way the Zionists handled it. But then it is all too easy to forget just how much practice they've had.]

Being Brits, I'm fairly confident that the academics will learn from the experience and regroup with much more rigor and a more thoroughly developed (and explored) tactical plan.

Gravatar And one shouldn't under-estimate the impact on the general population having seen their academics publicly humiliated for proposing a boycott on strong moral grounds. Boycotts, as has been mentioned several times above, boil down to a one person at a time individual decision. So the Zionist victory could yet prove phyrric.

Gravatar Although we can all make a personal choice to avoid Israeli products or services, in the US doing this in business can have some serious consequences as such action is illegal.

We were able to verify that this was true, and because it was true, we did not hesitate to shed our quota of blood, to sacrifice our youth and our hopes.

We regretted nothing, but whereas we over here are inspired by their frame of mind, I am told that in Rome factions and conspiracies are rife, that treachery flourishes, and that many people in their uncertainty and confusion lend a ready ear to the dire temptations of relinquishment and vilify our action.

I cannot believe that all this true, and yet recent wars have shown how pernicious such a state of mind could be and to where it could lead.

You're right. I suspect the Guardian letter is little more than a PR stunt for Zionism.

Laurie's post above yielded a lucky nugget of information on Greenstein from the peacepalestine blog. Here's an opening quote (my capitals and cuts):

"Tony tried to PULL THE BLOG so no one could read these remarks. As regular readers know, Tony Greenstein has been focused (obsessed, actually) for at least 3 years on TRYING TO SMEAR AND DEFAME GILAD ATZMON.

Ever since Gilad criticised the "internal lobbying" of a group of Secular Jewish activists . . . Tony has decided that his campaigning would revolve around labelling someone who would expose the cheap shot as an "ANTI-SEMITE" . . . and if Tony and Co. are legitimated to act "as Jews" . . . no one is supposed to condemn that, because to do so is "ANTI-SEMITIC", according to his logic.

3 years of AD HOMINEM ATTACKS, most of them based on FALSIFICATION, INVENTION, "guilt by association" and other tactics that impede upon the freedom people have to read or listen to Gilad Atzmon, all because he turns on some lights where others would prefer the darkness.

It is a pressure and HARASSMENT CAMPAIGN that has also extended to GILAD'S CLOSE FRIENDS OR AFFILIATES."

The article continues in the same vein.

A google search of some of the other names appended to the impressive Guardian letter would undoubtedly yield quite a number of slimy snakes slithering around in the grass!

Gravatar WHAT KIND OF WEBSITE IS THIS?

The dearth of commenters on this website today does not bode well. I myself intend to take a back seat soon, becoming a reader rather than a contributor. Pressure of work makes this mandatory.

Before I go, however, I must ask myself: what sort of website is this? Is it safe to be here? Is this a dangerous anti-Semitic or neo-Nazi website, as is now being alleged by Rowan Berkeley?

Even scarier than that, is this a Zionist honeytrap? Are one's comments being carefully monitored for political correctness? Is Big Brother watching us?

All I can say is this: people who are capable of discussing Hindu metaphysics and the poetry of Pound and Eliot in an intelligent way cannot be compared to neo-Nazi skinheads. Neo-Nazi skinheads do not write poetry. They do not anguish over the genocide of the Palestinian people.

I think this is a website for the anti-Zionist intellegentsia. Sometimes you get a few nutcases who go too far. Guys who think Hitler had the right idea. Sickos who want to wipe out every Jew in sight, including the good Jews — because even the good Jews are bad in their eyes.

Assume yes till you know no.

Other issues: As a steelworker (retired but working elsewise) I have known working class Zionists and the rest of their opinions are similar to ordinary flatland Americans. Ordinary Jews hereabouts protested the arrival of Wal-Mart (as just one ferinstance.)

"Neo-Nazi" is never anything but your tax dollars at work. I did the gun show thing and I know. Chittum's "Civil War II" arrived when I was around.

For the straight dope on "White Power in America": Do a search on FBI "Special Support Groups" which are called SSGs or just plain Gs. The FBI, with ADL help, hires ex-felons, head cases, drifters or just plain opportunists and lets them play nazi in order to snag unsuspecting but frustrated citizens into doing something illegal. (Re: The whole Randy Weaver thing.)

The real number of dangerous rightwing terrorists in the US is probably zero. Maybe a nut off his meds once or twice. Whenever you hear someone think "neo-nazis" are a REAL threat in America, write 'em off. They're evil or just plain dumb.

Who needs either?

lobro | 05.02.08 - 11:57 am | #

Sorry lobro, I expressed myself carelessly . . . but I think you know what I mean! I am a Holocaust revisionist myself, as most people on this site would tend to be.

Gravatar i do know what you mean, no offense taken or intended.
My point is that when dealing with an edifice of falsehood, everything must be questioned.
I have seen precious little to validate HC claims and lots to dispute them, hence in absence of confirmatory evidence, I am a solid revisionist.
Since the exact same pack of liars also constructed the sanctioned perception of AH, I reject it without even bothering to look up the documentation, i.e., I know precious little about Hitler, his life, career and thoughts.
However, this testament was written in the last hours of his life and it paints an entirely different picture of the man - I cannot identify one statement there that I would strongly disagree with. Certainly doesn't strike me as a ravening mass murderer and there is no motivation for lying at the moment of death.

Gravatar lobro | 05.02.08 - 5:51 pm | #

If you are impressed by Hitler's Testament, maybe you want to give Mein Kampf another try. It's a book I never bothered to read before, but I saw the paperback in the library last week and decided to borrow it. It's certainly worth reading. Not at all turgid, as its translator Ralph Manheim suggests.

Manheim, incidentally, was a Jew, and here he is translating Hitler's early memoirs — taking every opportunity to inform the reader in almost every footnote how wrong old Adolf was about everything! Bit of a hoot, really.

Another thing that needs to be said is this. Hitler discusses propaganda at great length in Mein Kampf and what he says is spot-on. Everything he said has been adopted and implemented by the Israelis and American neocons. Whatever they learnt about war propaganda, they learnt it from Mein Kampf.

Gravatar Since we are on the subject of Mein Kampf, I might as well tell you that I wrote a letter on this subject to the David Irving website last week. Unfortunately, it was rejected. Why I don't know, since he has accepted most of my other letters.

I think it's either because he knew Manheim personally, and I was pretty scathing about Manheim. Or else he found the letter embarrassing in some way. A bit over-the-top perhaps. One of my failings.

Anyway, this seems a good opportunity for me to copy and post my Hitler letter on this site. Seems a shame to waste it. Maybe someone will tell me why it was rejected.

Gravatar LETTER ON HITLER'S MEIN KAMPF TO DAVID IRVING (1)

Dear Mr Irving,

It was with considerable surprise that I learnt from your website that Hitler’s Mein Kampf (1925) is banned in Germany. I had no idea.

I note with some amusement, now that the copyright of Mein Kampf is about to expire—and none can stop its publication anyway—that there appears to be a campaign afoot in Germany to prepare the public in advance for this momentous event. Thus academic Norbert Frei insists that “notes and criticisms” should precede the dangerous book, and that this edition must have “educational and societal value”. Moreover, Stephan Kramer, general secretary of Germany’s Central Council of Jews, has volunteered with alacrity “to help with the annotations”. One cannot help wondering if Hitler himself would have welcomed all these kind services.

As a reader of the English edition of Mein Kampf, originally translated by Ralph Manheim in 1969, I perceive that every effort has been made to alarm and prejudice the reader in advance—the object being, it would seem, to deter the reader from reading the book, or else to work him into a froth of hatred toward the dangerous nonsense he is about to read. Why readers cannot be left to form their own judgements is a mystery to me.

Mr Manheim begins by informing us on page 1 (in his Translator’s Note) that Hitler is a lousy writer, illogical and disjointed, that he made “the most extraordinary allegations”; and that he was, in so many words, an absolute dead loss. One can only wonder why Manheim bothered to translate the book at all!

(Continued . . . . . )

Gravatar LETTER ON MEIN KAMPF (2)

Hitler’s style, Manheim tells us, “is without colour and movement. Images are rare, and when they do appear, they tend to be purely verbal and impossible to visualise.” (My italics). I beg to differ. Plucking out quotations at random, here is what Hitler has to say about his first encounter with the Viennese Jew: “When thus for the first time I recognised the Jew as the cold-hearted, shameless, and calculating director of this revolting vice traffic in the scum of the big city, a cold shudder ran down my back.” (p.55). I have no problem visualising this.

And as for dull imagery and colourless language, what are we to say to this: “Was there any form of filth or profligacy, particularly in cultural life, without at least one Jew involved in it? If you cut even cautiously into such an abscess, you found, like a maggot in a rotting body, often dazzled by the sudden light—a kike!” (p. 53, my italics). Whether “kike” is an accurate translation for the German word used by Hitler, I am in no position to say; but I cannot accept that Hitler is a dull stick without a scintilla of literary talent.

Given the inflammatory nature of the sentiments quoted above, I can well understand the need for Hitler’s latter-day Jewish “annotators” to prepare the way for the German public by providing “context” and “nuance”. Personally, I cannot see how Germans can expect to get anything other than a bowdlerized version of Mein Kampf that has been distorted, misconstrued, and thoroughly vilified in advance.

Gravatar I guess it was too long. Letters need to be short nowadays.

Gravatar Is Xanadu RH?

Gravatar why was it rejected?
Maybe something like this:

Xanadu’s style, Manheim tells us, “is without colour and movement. Images are rare, and when they do appear, they tend to be purely verbal and impossible to visualise.”

Or maybe because he (Irving) was indisposed, doing time.

Gravatar Umm who's tracking me Carnivore 4.0?? Oh nevermind. CPUSA needs a partyzone, that's what I'm seeing in response. Over 2000 people signed up there at the Utica outpost, hippies, peaceniks, social deformists, Oh my. Here's the op, we (under yer' hats now folks) get in and ruin the illiterates just like they want to ruin us all the while watching the door. Bottle o' Stoli styled democracy et al parastroika, big fur hats flightcoats with Russian insignia.

What I'm hearing from the groundwire is that people are setting up their own chapters at campuses somewhere and there are probably about 5000 or so interested in doing this kind of undercover thang which turns the tables on everything they do to us. A nice nice op--saaaadly the Brit who did all the spelling tests has died (he actually finished the last 200) yes died for mother Russia's jealous vengeance against the west all for moose and squirrel drinking contests. Anyway yada yada I think there needs to be a new CPUSA headquarters, as you all know Utica NY blows and might really suck it for Czarina on Mikes hard lemonade and scotch op doorwatching.

Here's my plan--(cough) get 'em stoned, talk weird shit, prove yourselves 100%, find the commies, become the comies, hold the hair back from their faces and continue with the beerbong hits until all answers are revealed for operative secret agencies in um maybe Prague (or was it Istanbul or was it Demascus?). make them change headquarters to the Jersey Shore or something--hell I don't know but we get in and gut 'em. They (the secret jew jews) did it to us since the Vietnam era we serve it right back at 'em. No one is armed from all detection but they might try red dyes in weed from ADM hamburger (Chinese)--it's arsenic that makes the colon simulate bleeding fissures (nevermind) that's all I'm seeing as far as dangers--it can't kill you but will make you sick. Russia (not the high leadership who apparently thinks I'm Jesus--they brought in Russian orthodox Psychics) is pissed but they're not sure if it (our plans) will take off--it shall, not a nyet on that'un as it seems to have so many people involved. There are as many as 5000 looking for a good place to Parastroik somewhere so I guess it's a go.

Have fun and fuckin' ruin 'em good--it's a positive greenlight--orr maybe is it red? Let's fuckin' get em' it's a beautiful op-all in progress.
Have fun all, smoke yerself stupid--bye.

See if they want to bye some microfische while yer' all at it (no one uses microfische anymore obviously) they aren't smart--have fun.

I think Ken will appreciate the following story, maybe with his bloodhound journalistic talent he can verify it.

In the summer of 2003, while vacationing on Adriatic coast, I ventured into the Herzegovian hinterland, to the city of Mostar.
Once the crown jewel of Ottoman Europe, it was almost leveled by tripartite shelling by Catholics, Orthodox and Muslims.
In the centre were hundreds of tiny arcaded shops, burnt and gutted.
For centuries they were run by a prosperous guild of tinkerers and coppersmiths, who looked Muslim, wore turkic fezzes, prayed publicly towards Mecca and all.
Then in the middle of firing, armistice was imposed by USrael and and airlift of Jews took place to ship them out to the Evil Entity.
No one had had a clue, but Jews knew Jews all along and these tinkerers, who were apparently descendants of Jews booted out of Spain by Isabella and Ferdinand, knew all along the true score and so did some other Jew agency.

Gravatar Hello Xym & Co.

FROM THE PHYSICS ARXIV BLOG

The hunt for superheavy elements has focused banging various heavy nuclei together and hoping they’ll stick. In this way, physicists have extended the periodic table by manufacturing elements 111, 112, 114, 116 and 118, albeit for vanishingly small instants. Although none of these elements is particularly long lived, they don’t have progressively shorter lives and this is taken as evidence that islands of nuclear stability exist out there and that someday we’ll find stable superheavy elements.

But if these superheavy nuclei are stable, why don’t we find them already on Earth? Turns out we do; they’ve been here all along. The news today is that a group led by Amnon Marinov at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem has found the first naturally occuring superheavy nuclei by sifting through a large pile of the heavy metal thorium.

~~~>
By BM on Apr 30, 2008 | Reply
Please note that this is author Amnon Marinov’s fifth claim of discovering a long-lived superheavy element. He claims to have seen a multi-day Z=115 in 1977, long-lived Z=111 in 2007 (two isotopes), and long-lived 210Th and 211Th in 2004. None of these claims were accepted by the community or confirmed by subsequent experiments.
~~~>

After all is said and done, I hate to say it: why is that not surprising?

When I started reading the article, upon coming to source of the discovery, the red flags went up.

I say 'thank you' BM. Remeber though, "just because you think the world is out to get you, doesn't mean the world isn't out to get you."

i suppose that Mostar contingent would have been unique within the larger jewish population and unrecognized as such by regular Mostarians, especially if they adhered to a seemingly devout Islamic lifestyle in an otherwise multicultural city.

A word of caution, Someone I can't stand, you appear to be slipping into some sort of self satisfied dualistic heresy.
I am sure this is inadvertent, but it has been suggested that the road to Hell is paved with good intentions.
Heresy is not always immediately apparent.
Consider what Irenaeus, Bishop of Lyon, had to say in his popular book on the subject, "Against Heresies.",
"Error, indeed, is never set forth in its naked deformity, lest, being thus exposed, it should at once be detected."
You need to tread carefully through the theological minefield.

Gravatar When the West rose to power, led by their blasphemous philosophers, demonic scientists and priestly class of unfaithful two faced braying jackasses, it was only a matter of time until the entire world felt their devolution of society on a personal level.

How'd you, the sole outside witness, find out about it then?

I appreciate your story as Snopes would.

Moreover, there aren't need of verifying "blogs," just on-scene stories that orginate out of war zones and those which are conveyed when the dust clears. Can't buttress it, concede whoever you heard it from was inventive, even if patting yourself on the shoulder.

Gravatar When civil war broke out in 1991, Bosnian Jews were left without many options. The Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) relieved the Jewish communities with food and supplies. The most important measure that the JDC took was to airlift over 2,000 Bosnian Jews out of the area. In this way, many more Jews were saved who would have otherwise been trapped in a war. Many of these Jews were taken to Israel and chose to remain there after the breakup of Yugoslavia.

Here is a more mundane version of a "similar" event. The story that there were thousands of Jews around Mostar who had, along with what would have been tens of thousands of forbears, kept their identity secret from Muslims for hundreds of years until an airlift escorted them to safety is palpably absurd-except to political Maenicheans at weak moments.

Gravatar Wasn't this same scenario repeated in Kosovo(a)? Particularly Pristina.
