Actually, this reminds me of an article I read on the www some time ago. It concerned an experimental party-trick computer program in a Uni dept somewhere in USA. The program responded to questions typed into the console, by asking a question about the subject of the typed question and randomly embellished them with remarks such as "Why is this important/ interesting/ worrying", or "how do you feel about that?".
The point of the article was that troubled students were sneaking into the lab and discussing their problems with the computer when there were on-campus professional counselors available free of charge and on short notice.
What they liked about the computer was that it seemed more interested and sympathetic etc...

Holocaust Denier's Lawyer Gets Prison

BERLIN - A former lawyer for a well-known Holocaust denier was convicted of incitement in Germany on Monday for denying the genocide herself and sentenced to 3 1/2 years in prison.
Sylvia Stolz, who represented Holocaust denier Ernst Zundel at his trial, also was banned from practicing law for five years.
During Zundel's trial, Stolz repeatedly disputed the Nazis' mass murder of Jews, called for hatred of the Jewish population and ended a legal document with the words "Heil Hitler."
Zundel's first trial collapsed after Stolz was banned from the proceedings on the grounds she was trying to sabotage them.
Zundel's second trial at Mannheim state court ended in February 2007 with his conviction for incitement for denying the Holocaust — a crime in Germany.
The 67-year-old Zundel, who was deported from Canada in 2005 and also once lived in Tennessee, was sentenced to the maximum five years in prison.

When the Germans took Warsaw in late September 1939, they seized a mass of documents from the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In a letter of 8 April 1983, Dr. Karl Otto Braun of Munich informed me that the documents were captured by an SS brigade led by Freiherr von Kuensberg, whom Braun knew personally. In a surprise attack, the brigade captured the center of Warsaw ahead of the regular German army. Von Kuensberg told Braun that his men took control of the Polish Foreign Ministry just as Ministry officials were in the process of burning incriminating documents. Dr. Braun was an official of the German Foreign Office between 1938 and 1945.

Actually I need to revise what I said having given it a little more thought. Lobro didn't make me feel bad, that isn't the intent, the intent is to score a point of argument. He got me to admit I have guilt, by tricking me. What lobro did the other day that I find so clever was he got me to think he was talking about me (and maybe he really was but it can't be proven by the words he wrote) which caused me to react. It was like a puppet master pulling a string. It's playing a strategic game. I love it.
An innocent bystander like myself saw lobro's words for what they were. No insult/backhanded remark nor any inference at all. Just a misunderstood quip.
