HOW old is this child? FOUR?
Hoo, boy. I better get prepared. I thought I had until adolescence. But then maybe your guy is just unusually advanced.

He's unusually something, all right! Actually, he'll be five in January, but he does seem precocious to me much of the time. Keeps things very interesting, I gotta say. I laugh a LOT. ;^)

Ouch!!! Good thing you have a great sense of humor :o) What a funny kid you've got, and I bet he thought he'd just paid you one hell of a compliment!

Thanks, Holly. I believe he did think he was giving me a great compliment, similar to my telling him, "Even when Mommy doesn't like something you did, I always like *you*." He just needs to learn a bit more subtlety. ;^)

Clearly, the child is refining his technique. Think of the things that will come out of his mouth by the time he is 16 or 17.
I love it! I think these are the sorts of compliments where you consider the intent: he thinks very highly of you!

I can never read too many G-isms!
Your child, born on my birthday may I remind you, has provided me with so many chuckles since he started talking.
