Not to worry, Debbie, I verified the measurements on my current pair and made sure to choose a similar-looking pair with identical measurements, so I'm sure they'll fit. The site I ordered from came with good references (incl. good Better Business Bureau rating) and I examined and questioned them for months before actually ordering. I don't take these things lightly, believe me!

Hope the new glasses work out. My dad is an ophthalmologist, so I totally take the glasses thing for granted!

Lucinda: Thank you! AND you are among the small percentage of Americans who know how to spell "ophthalmologist"! ;^) When I was a kid, my ophthalmologist used to tell my mom my eyes were "getting worse" every time we went in, and I'd cry in the car on the ride home, afraid to tell my mom that I thought he meant I'd eventually go blind. I was terrified. Heh. Not that that has anything to do with what you said.
