Gravatar Mom of a second grader-wow! They grow up so fast.

My period has been really light the last year or so. My doctor said it was peri-menopause-which can last up to 10+ years. Sort of the first act of menopause. Read Christine Northrup's Wisdom of Menopauses.

Gravatar The mom of a second grader-Wow! I hope he is loving it.

Gravatar It never ceases to amaze me how we handle complications.. Life only.. i mean ONLY gets complicated with time.. and we just learn somehow somewhere.. to survive..

Write more.. it will help you get out of the slump! I know i know.. "If I only got the freaking computer...." But, I had to say it anyway..

Gravatar Yes, my ex has been SO congenial lately - instead of appreciating the lull in hostilities, it fills me w/deep suspicion...
I had HOPES that I was entering peri-menopause myself last year [when I skipped a month @ age 43] but my old friend is back, as reliable as ever... Thankfully just tapered down to 3 d vs. my old routine of 6-7 d of bloody chaos!

Gravatar I'm glad you've found a new mom-friend. Your dad was right! Friendships are important.

I'm sorry about your friend with the tumor. It must be really tough to realize that your own brain and potentially personality are in flux. I hope things get better quickly for your friend.
