Gravatar Cherry - Wow. That was harsh! You couldn't think of a slightly more encouraging way to say that, like "It seems like you're having a tough time right now. Don't worry, you'll get through it!" Yeesh!

Anyway, I was coming here to applaud you, Anna, for all of your hard work in your garden. I'm always impressed when I read of all the work you do there. Our garden looks like an absolute wreck and I just haven't had the organization to get it together to tend it regularly, even though it's right outside my front door.

It's in the 90s here now but I'm going to try to get in a bit of gardening today. DH just pruned all of the bamboo, etc. yesterday and it looks so much better there, so I'll have to try to match what he did. Our main problem is that we need some wooden boxes for plots because some of the ground is just so full of weed roots. They also just sanded and spray painted the outside of our house and we don't feel comfortable growing edible plants in the soil with the paint chips in it.

To end it off, here's a big virtual hug!!!

Gravatar I have been reading all your blogs, can't remember the connection, but my daughter was at LIPA, and we have a mutual interest in Veg, Sewing, Children, (and weight loss). I get the impression that life is overly challenging. You don't seem to gain joy from either your child, or your vegan principles. I am a wee bit further down the road and I send you my every best wish and encouragement. Please find the pleasure, and diminish the trials if you can.
