Gravatar Yes, one day. It's been sitting on my coffee table because I was seduced by Charlotte. And now its the damn acrylic squares.

I did make it into the second repeat, so maybe there is hope. The Knitting Curmudgeon is knitting a Queen Anne's Lace as well, but I haven't seen her talk about it in forever.

Gravatar Oops, sorry for the double. Here's the picture I took of QAL out of Stillwater:

You can post it if you want. I posted it to my personal blog way back when - I don't think I was allowing indexing then, which is probably why you couldn't find it.

Gravatar 'Twill be beautiful when it is finished, and then you can proudly inspire the rest of us who are afraid to even think about the possibility of a (gasp) steek, for heaven's sake. It makes me want to hum that Impossible Dream song and contemplate the horizon from a craggy cliff somewhere damp. (Unlike where I Actually Reside, where it is downright sultry....sigh.)

Gravatar Sorry I don't have a queen Anne's Lace photo for ya! It's one of the few Starmore fair isles that never appealed to me -- the colors are all wrong for me.

Gravatar I wanna do a Starmore like that! I wanna! Oh, yeah, when I finish her flippin' frackin' Cromarty. That's right. (What do the etiquette books say about swearing on someone else's blog? Hmmm.) QAL will be totally worth it.

Gravatar Well, my elephants are showing me how much (so far) I'm enjoying the Starmore style of Fair Isleing, so I know I'll be doing more of these in the furture. Not sure if there's a QAL in there, but there's something more...

Gravatar I must say that I like the colors on your version better than the ones on the plant. The sweater is going to be gorgeous.

(And the Crown Jewels Jello item was very interesting looking. I noticed, though, that you didn't mention how it tasted; what was it like?)

Gravatar Very Nice.

BUGGY!!
