Hey, I went to grad school at Pitt for a year. (Political Science. I decided I really didn't want to be a professor.) I really loved Pittsburgh, even if I was only there for a year.

Gaah - moving books! I remember packing up 24 cartons of books to send from Illinois to Massachusetts and picking up each one of them and getting on a scale to make sure they didn't go over 50 lbs. Not to mention dragging them all upstairs and into storage on the other end...

It doesn't really have that phrase, does it? That's so funny that it hurts my stomach. You must find the book. I MUST be able to tell my cats "get down from there or I'm going to kill you" in Irish.

It was only 34 boxes of books down three flights and up one for me last summer. I clearly have a way to go in achieving my true calling.
This is obviously why God invented graduate school: one must have sufficient time to collect all the boxes of books required for professorship.
(Jonathan says he remembers it being 37 boxes.)
