Gravatar Oh you are Britain now, had you not still realised the rules are there so we can look like we're civilised not for anyone to actually follow them :0)

Find your nearest Marks and Spencers and try their sandwiches a really good selection usually. If you walk in with a Marks and Sparks carrier bag the proprietor will think you've been buying knickers. Anyway, since when did you have member of staff in your room with you?!! Just don't cook eggs or bring in a curry.

Me I always travel with my homemade boiled fruitcake which has fruit, nuts and seeds in it and is better than any enrgy bar and is great with a wedge of cheese to round it out as a meal giving roughage and protein without whiff. It also keeps moist and doesn't disintergrate when wrapped in foil and shoved to bottom of case away from the prying eyes of the rules board.

Hey I could send you food parcels from Wales!, lava bread, cockles, leeks and bara brith to name but a few delights - nothing to do with food just a cultural exchange, cough.
Intersted in the fruit cake? they'll be one in the post tomorrow if you send me your Richmond-O-T address :0)

Gravatar For sandwiches you're in Pret a Manger territory now.

I spent a summer working down by the river in Richmond cough cough years ago. You could take a walk where Richmond Palace used to be, between the Green and the Thames.
