I still remember the embarrassment in college of being the only one in class to raise her hand when the professor asked if anyone thought the Shakespeare play we were reading was funny. I felt like such a loser-geek until the professer 'llowed as how the play was indeed one of Shakespeare's finest comedies and EVERYONE should have raised his or her hand.Woo-hoo! Loser-geeks rock!
This was to be my summer of Proust. I found a used three volume collection of Remberance of Things Past and took it as a sign it was time to make the commitment. The summer had other plans for me though, well at least July has...... and I've put off picking the books up. It feels like such a daunting read! But good to hear you have been enjoying. I hope your trip over here was successful.
