Gravatar LP = large person
SP1, SP2 = small people

LP and SP1 are the two brothers. LP is the father of SP2 (the son). SP1 is the uncle of SP2 (the nephew).

So are you impressed?

Gravatar Yep!

You got it.

LP1, the larger of the little people, is The Child (mine), who is veyr proud of being a Child Uncle.

And is adored, adored, I tell you, by LP@, who follows him everywhere, imitates his every move, and has crying jags when forced to say good bye.

Nice collection of people -- I enjoy them all.

(And HI!, GWEN! Nice to see you, too.)

Gravatar what great shots, esp. that last one....

Gravatar I'm studying Marine Biology - I detest the ocean and sand. I like to watch (from a safe distance) as the waves crash on the beach, I like walking on rock platforms and observing the critters but I prefer to stay dry and sandfree.

Gravatar This was SO funny. I am a mermaid, as are my children...happy,happy, racing to be First in the water...but MY Mother is Truly Terrified of the OCEAN and Does.Not.Swim. EVER.....Even though she grew up on the jersey shore...I heard her voice narrating this blog entry, which frightened me sufficiently to last me the rest of the summer.
Welcome home.
Will you be knitting a "Go Play in the Street, where it is SAFE" sign?
A(n) historically accurate device for launching cats?
Ah, the suspense.....

Gravatar I'm with you, Anne. And I understand completely about feeling safer in the new rental house. Because, for example, if the child woke in the middle of the night to do some sleepwalking, and slipped out the front door undetected, he would then be in the middle of a street, which would probably be deserted at that hour. Whereas the ocean would most certainly be at high tide, and probably stormy. Oh yes, I understand.
