I had the joy of being a Band Mom today to a bunch of college kids. Fetching pizza. Passing around sunscreen. And knitting. That sort of thing.
The band held its own (with the help of a ringer or two), but the football team did not. Maybe they're the polite suburban kids gone to college now, stepping aside when the other team wants to run down the field.
But who won??!!
Polite? Polite? Where IS this magical place that has polite children? I thought that was a dead language.
