Gravatar It concerns the holy nature of the act which preciptated the fall from Eden. If not for that act, the rest of the important stuff never would have happened.

The little green things in the middle are bushes, behind which Eve and Adam are handing off the forbidden goods, or even possibly the Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Life themselves. The third figure is God, pointing towards the exit of the garden... which in turn, over generations, leads to the love and honour of Our Lady (as represented by the first beads of the rosary), and the ultimate symbol of faith (the cross).

A glow in the dark rosary is a shrewd and insightful comment on the presence of faith in these dark times.

Or... it's a mini-map of the African continent, complete with people, scrub trees, and snakes. I really can't decide.

Gravatar The sculpture represents the power of religion to contain and explain both the supernatural (aliens) and the natural (snake) world. Either that or the rosary is acting as fence to contain genetic-experimentation-gone-wrong in the works. Glow-in-the-dark-snake-aliens anyone?

Gravatar I stand in awe of the insightful interpretations of this work by Autumn and Sarah. I might add that the sofa cushion background, with its horizontal lines representing the space/time continuum, as well as the gently curved cushion front indicating that space is not flat, is revealing also. The Crucifix, pointing towards the northwest quadrant, may indicate the location of Heaven itself. Or, you might look there for some lost coins.

Gravatar I see this a prophecy of a time far in the future of the boy...
'Incontinance is the snake in the belley of each Angel and maketh themm alien unto themsleves but lo the shield of the blessed Lady holds all in and points the way to the bathroom'

Gravatar Wow - lots of very insightful and deep meaning explainations for the child's creation. Of course, if it was my child, and me explaining, it's probably just round 'em up, head 'em out, Rawhide!!
