I swear that I may be incapable of knitting leper bandages at 9am. It's the combo. I can knit at 9, I can knit leper bandages. I cannot do both. I think the soonest I can knit bandages is noonish.

How fabulous! I go looking for leper bandages on line, and find your blog. And discover that not only are you an academic, but also a medievalist! I'm a historian, but maybe there's just something about the idea of leper bandages that appeals to medievalists...

I'm just starting knitting again after many years.... Not much to boast about yet, but I'm on my way out this afternoon to pick up some mercerized cotton and #2 needles. Maybe I should start up a leper bandage-knitting club here on campus...?
