Seems that I remember Ford producing a coupe (in the late 40's or early 50's) called the Tudor, but I do not recall it having pewter buttons in the upholstery or dash. It probably led to the Crown Victoria. Just naming something after the British Monarchy causes enough distraction to litter anyone's desktop. Good luck!
The Tudors didn't have as much fossil fuels keeping them warm so they probably had enough layers of clothes that they couldn't feel the buttons.
