Gravatar I be loving it, too, though I be thinking it extreme ODDE.

Gravatar Given the recent mention on the blog, when I found out that our truck driver is a Sim fanatic I pumped him for a complete description of the game. I was riding with him from Seattle down to San Jose (where we installed a clear room), and the alternative conversations appeared to be less attractive.

He's also a big fan of Grand Theft Auto, and this was also a topic of conversation. Maybe simulating Henry VIII would be easier in GTA.

Gravatar I have a TW cross stitch piece in my UFO box: maddeningly complex. Ditto for a couple of TIAG pieces on which I was merrily working up through the birth of baby #1. She's now almost ten. I haven't been able to focus for hours on end in the evening to finish any one of those projects. And I inherited most of my mother's enormous stash of cross stitched UFOs. I'll never catch up!

Gravatar I thought of you the minute I saw the tapestry episode. Figured you'd have already seen it.

Hee!

Gravatar I have limited cross stitch experience but do you have to do that earth one over one? Can't you do it two over two?

Gravatar But that would be cheating Charlotte! Plus it would probably look v. v. odd. OF course, I've only managed to finish The Old Rugged Cross from Leisure Arts, so I'm no expert.

That Cat Towne Tapestry beith fab. I need to stay away from here. I've already gotten Tudor Roses (which is no longer $45 - more like double that) so I can add another expensive UFO to my collection.

Gravatar Y'know, I thought I was done with cross-stitching. That was my main craft as a kid, but I only ever see goofy old-lady-esque patterns at the craft stores. But your work is *fabulous*, and now I'm spending too much time looking at cross stitch patterns. The enabling's all your fault.
