You should let your son know that the last time I cried on my mother's lap was last year around this time, after just having graduated from college. It's something that never ends.
Of course, after I cried on her, I also threw up on her, having just been pumped full of Vicodin and Morphine for a kidney infection, but she told me that's what she was there for.
