I have the proper pedigree to supply the landed gentry with a bushel of turnips, but turnips seem to be unknown in Texas (and rightly so). How about a bushel of okra? My daughter in Ohio lives in a neighborhood of half million $ and up homes, most of which have garages facing the street, which would be gauche down here in the Lone Star State. She reminds me that shoveling snow from 100 feet of driveway would make a Texan reconsider that notion.
