Jim and I had a raging debate about the "best breakfast" during our first trip to England in 2000.
He really loved the breakfast at the Granary House in East Coker (http://freespace.virgin.net/granary.house/), particularly because of the freshly-picked mushrooms.
I particularly loved the breakfast at Thornbury Castle outside of Bristol (http://www.thornburycastle.co.uk/
about_thornbury.asp) because the baked goods were great and there was wonderful ham and cheese on the buffet.
