I sure have been enjoying your travels (and did last year too) and now wish I could go to Boots for lunch
I would love to tramp around a ruined abbey this afternoon, but am going to have to besatisfied with the New Hamshire seacoast area. I guess that's not so bad at that

As I've never been fortunate enough to go to England, I love living vicariously through your varied travels. Boots sounds lovely. I'm wondering, since the Brits call the car trunk the "boot," does the name of the store have anything to do with a trunk or storage receptacle? Or maybe it's something else entirely. Interesting name, at any rate. Happy walking.

Ever so envious. I, too, have a weakness for Boots and all the great things they have tucked away, even in quite tiny stores.

We have loving Boots in common. Whenever I'm in England, I like to poke through there. I'm especially fond of their travel detergent in a tube. I felt especially smug when I introduced a friend from NZ to it after she had spent lots more time in England than me. Guess she didnt' go to Boots.

Herring? Lordy. My mother loves her creamed herring.
I think I'll skip the bull baiting sites (where was PETA when you need them? It's like reading Leviticus.) but I'm vicariously traveling with you too.
