I have just read you and your cabbies unhelpful remarks about the Abbey.
As a member of The Friends of Delapre Abbey i can say definitly, it is not derelict, has not been raised to the ground and is not boarded up. The Friends are working earnestly with the Borough Council to mantain and decide the future use of the Abbey.
I think that you will have to come to the Abbey to meet us and have a good look around to see what a wonderful old building it really is.
We have a friendly, informal meeting every Tuesday between 7pm-9pm, why don't ya come down and introduce yourself, we would look forward to it.
