Gravatar you're home? and i just jumped the pond! too bad. sorry i never blog. i don't see much of the internet these days. about a half hour between classes, within which i read 30 emails.

Gravatar oh yeah, we have channel 4 in galway, and i knew what that fulford business was b/c of your blog. ah, culture.

Gravatar Congratulations on closing so soon! I really envy your Aventure -- enjoy it!

Gravatar Good to know about the Russian mob. Is it just Victoria station or do they take day trips to King's Cross?

Gravatar glad for the geeky backup....won't those mobsters be FLUMMOXED when they come across the blogging comments?
Teehee.
Welcome HOME.

Gravatar Welcome home(s)! xo

Gravatar I'm sure this is an indication of the Sorry State of My Dissertation, but the British cleaning ladies have an American version of their show on Lifetime, Mondays at 11:30. So dreadful, but yet I can't look away.

And I see that I MUST write to BBCAmerica and demand this Fulford program. It sounds wonderful!

Welcome back!

Gravatar The programme was good, sorry you missed it! Kim and Aggie had to bring a team of more than 30 cleaners with them and they only just managed the 3 reception rooms. Francis Fulford was his typical self though they did get him to do some cleaning.. amazing that or what!

Gravatar Personally, I am not afraid of those ladies inspecting my garbage can, as this has always been one of my Top Priorities (which explains why other areas of life, arguably more important, are not quite all they should be) (I say arguably, but really don't think anything is more important than a sanitary garbage area). But the story about the mob stealing your laptop just frightens the living heck out of me because had I been in your place, I would not have had anything on my jumpdrive. I may even have a jumpdrive, but I have yet to put anything on it. So glad you're safely back. xoxo Kay

Gravatar I really wanted to see that episode, I watched a full night of the Fulfords on BBC America here in the US one night and of course never heard about it again. I wish BBC would play it again, I really like looking at the country side and the fact that they had documents from the tudor error is verin interesting as well. Does anyone know if you have by the collection of these shows anywhere yet or not?
