However, I must confess - and this may be a comfort to Sam - this nugget of knowledge did not come from my non-existent encyclopedic knowledge of classic movies. It is, instead, an example of my considerable Google prowess.

But now, it is also important to note that there are TWO jazz tunes, both of which are located within "Some Like It Hot," one entitled "Down among the sheltering palms," and one (that I more relate to) entitled "Down among the sheltering PINES." And that I knew off-hand. Which I must say, surprised even me.
Are there good places to hear jazz in Phil-a-delphi-a? Or in SC?
Shetering pines makes sense to me. Do you truly think I can't take those 23k pines sheltering uncountably many berry vines with me?

"Down Among the Sheltering Palms" is indeed a song, but it antedates "Some Like It Hot" by long way. Try 1915.
Not even the clue helped me out. It was in Some Like it Hot? Who knew? Not me. One of the nine, evidently.
