Despite being allergic to the things, I now have a cat, sort of. It's the feral white and tan that has not yet gotten rid of all the rats over at my buddy's warehouse.

I didn't know if feral cats eat cat food, but the answer is not only yes, but he/she thinks it's a really good thing and is willing to let humans within 10 feet of him while eating.

Any recommendations are appreciated.

Gravatar Mama cats! That's the key to their evolutionary survival. That and their breeding ability and usefulness as pest removers. Lovely kittens!

Gravatar Better the bathtub than the toilet! Many years ago, my cat (then a kitten) used the toilet to launch herself onto the sink. One night, she missed. After that, the lid stayed down, so she had a better launch pad.

Gravatar I'm with you on the jasmine and honeysuckle, but am missing how glitter is a bonus in a bath product. Am envisioning cleaning it off the sides of the tub and finding it throughout the laundry from the towels.

Early in our married days we acquired a kitten who had a fascination with the toilet. We got into the habit of keeping the lid closed to prevent him from drowning. Six years later we still keep the lid down - turns out it's a habit I like, and it saves the "seat up or down" arguments that destroy so many a good marriage.

Gravatar Glitter in Bear's Reatreat? Well, I guess if you have a whirlpool, you should have glitter. And darling Siamese kittens. And saffron and sassafras. And maybe you can get zoning for a Starbucks. Sigh.

Gravatar How 'bout the cats falling in a fishtank? We "inherited" my grandmother's cat (due to a move into a "no-pet" apartment)...and she decided the fishtank was preferable drinking water to sharing, oh heavens!, the bowl on the ground, oh my no (she liked to observe from above), with the other pets (dog & cat). The water level in a fishtank tends to get a little lower each day, and one day...SPLASH! She did this a couple of times a year for the many years that she lived with us (she lived to a grand old age of 23 or 24)...

Gravatar Ooooh, Lush baths... and in a whirlpool tub. Such bliss. And cats for company, with a book, I presume. Most of mine like to lie on the edge of the tub while I bathe. Maggie-Cat has to dip the very tip of her tail into bubbles for some reason.

All of mine as kittens have thought the Tub was a Grand Arena in which to Play Ball. Roman in particular had rules which included careening down the hall with a ball, batting it up over the edge of the tub, passing it back and forth between his paws for a bit before turning and slamming it into the drain -- he scores! Then he'd meow piteously because he couldn't get the ball out.

Our little black cat Nixie rubbed against glitter once. She was our official Magic Kitty for a while, wandering in and out of sunbeams which gently touched the silver sparkles glistening deep in her coat. Jasmine-scented sparkles win paws down, though.
