One of our "fondest" memories of Christmas past is our cat (who is gone now) climbing to the top of the tree and all of a sudden this cat head popped out and looked around --and she leapt from the tree to the couch--taking half the trim and ornaments with her. It was kind of like the squirrel in NATIONAL LAMPOON'S CHRISTMAS VACATION. So have big fun with those kitties.

We enjoy our tree most as cat-climbing-toy...you may want to reinforce the top. Wiring it to the ceiling works well.

Our second kitten scaled the Christmas tree, knocked it over, and since that happened all too quickly.. decided to unwrap every gift beneath the fallen tree.

My concern is not so much the kitten in the tree (as he does little more than perch) but rather the children trying to extract the kitten from the tree, which seems to cause far more damage to both tree and kitten. Any suggestions?
