"Next up, Knitting Olympics!"
Ok, we need to know the fight songs, where to buy t-shirt...uh, sorry...sweaters, tossle caps and beer mugs for this.
What is the appropriate Pittsburgh food for the Knitting Olympics? Frankly, I'm sick of Kielbassa (does that count as a pun?). I don't drink beer, but you really should specify a particular brand...you can get more ad revenue, especially if you put the logos on the needles so they can be seen in the closeup shots.
We're ready, though!
Run another line, Pittsburgh!
Run another line!
Count those stitches!
Work that yarn!
Get another skein!
Ok, so "line" and "skein" don't rhyme well -- have you heard some of the rhymes in the various Steeler fight songs?
You will attract a crowd. All we have to look forward to until Fall is the Penguins and Pirates.
Go for it!

I went to the South Side! I tried to find a news camera to hijack, but I failed. Still fun.

Man, we're awfully jealous out here. The closest we got to rioting was thinking about going outside to see if the person who set off fireworks was from Your Town and a Traitor and Deserved a Fate Worse than Death (the Seattle Cold Shoulder, we've trademarked it... and used it against many a team in the past).
darn. We did very much enjoy the Puppy Bowl and All Kitten Halftime, which put it all in perspective.
