Welcome! Stephanie's announcement of a deadline spurred me to quick action, too -- I've signed up, committed myself to a ridiculously impossible project, and harvested numerous buttons for my blog. I'm all set!
Good luck!

my friend akabini is doing an AS for the olympics, too. You're both whacked, and I mean that in a good way...

Remember: Citius, Alitius, Fortius, Loonius! Will the kittens act as assistant coaches? Pictures, please.
P.S. Did the Irish Drama students show up?

I can't do it. I'm too wrapped up in finishing my Clapotis. Maybe I can do my own unofficial challenge to finish it before the end of the Olympics. Yeah, that's a good idea.

I salute you. I still haven't half finished Nona's Peaceful Palms knitalong (which closed on 1/31), so I'm giving this a miss.

Excellent. Another crazy person for my club. I'm doing Alice Starmore's Kinsale for the Olympics--I cleverly chose one where all the patterning is just knit and purl patterns, no cables, even. It'll still be tight, but hey--it's the Olympics!!
