I get to teach Margery twice in any rotation of courses - in Women and Medieval Art AND in Pilgrimage. The Pilgrimage connection is obvious, but I use her in the Women course for several of your reasons - mainly because it's fun to watch the students react.

When she visits (and weeps near-constantly), please let me know so that I may ruin her clothing, thus "dressing her up" as a crazy person (so that she's not a plain-clothes crazy, thus lulling all of those looking at her [but not listening to her] into false sense of "that lady's not crazy!"-type security). If her fellow pilgrims could do it, then so can I!
