Oh! Well, I understand, things do end - but I'm very glad I found you when I did. Your sense of humor and sense of self I found particularly buoying and reassuring.

All good things, and so forth, but one doesn't have to like it. I've been missing your wit and turn of phrase, and will continue to do so.
(O dear; Shelfari looks like something that would drown me very quickly, but such a pleasureable death...)

I figured this was coming, but I've been checking in regularly still.
It's a time of transitions here, too. I'll try to stay in touch once I reach the prairie.

This is like the end of an era or something. This seriously demands an "American Idol"-esque montage where we get to see you typing the blog and then updating the blog, and then there should be a bit where you talk to the camera about what it would be like if you ever left the blog. ...all underscored, of course, by Daughtry's "Home."
Now, I have neither the talent nor the programs necessary to orchestrate this type of multi-media project, but it's a great idea, isn't it?

Well. I'll miss you, and bear's retreat, and the fairies and students! I came for the knitting, and stayed for everything else. Thanks for writing about it all.
Why not leave the blog up for posterity?
