I know exactly what you mean. I sit in an office/library so I am surrounded with books I hope to someday read. It is always difficult for me to know how to prioritize!!

And I'm so scatter-brained, I have trouble remembering everything I want to read.
My strategy now is to put any book that sounds remotely interesting, or recommended by someone I like, or just catches my eye onto my Amazon wishlist. I don't really wish to buy them--just want to remember that I'd like to at least page through them.
About once a week I go to our library website, and do a book request of whichever of those Amazon books interests me most at the moment. Some will already be available at the local library, the more interesting and Reformed ones require waiting for interlibrary loan. Either way, I can swing by and do a quick-in-and-out, don't-stay-and-be-tempted library trip.
Oh, and I can renew my books online, too. *grin*
This system is working pretty well, now.

Oh.
All that to say, I just added several of those books to my Amazon list. *grin*

I use my Amazon wishlist in the same way, TulipGirl. It keeps getting longer and longer!
