Gravatar I always MEAN to get something together for the carnival and just well, forget!

This looks lovely Anne. I love the pictures! Off to read the articles!

Gravatar Great carnival--Thanks! I know what you mean about fall. It's my favorite season, despite hay fever. Dh and I lived in the tropics for awhile. When we came back to the Midwest in February, I couldn't believe how refreshing it was to see the grays and browns of a winter woods.

Gravatar Beautiful pictures! I wish autumn were so dramatic here...I miss the reds and oranges of Northern IN. Here in NE, it is just yellow. And there is so much wind that even that doesn't last for long! Great carnival!

Gravatar Great carnival and theme! It is my favorite season. Loved the poetry links too! Seems like autumn and poetry should always go together.

Gravatar Oops, I got an error message the first time. Am trying again. Nice carnival Anne. Lots of good info to go through.

Lots of good links! My oldest is in 8th so will have to look more seriously at high school too.

Take care and thanks for hosting

Gravatar You did such a beautiful job putting all of this together. I used to live in Hawaii. I remember missing fall, winter and spring. In the winter I would sit in front of my air conditioner with it blowing full blast. I would cover up with a big blanket and read The Long Winter by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Anything to "feel" the season!

Gravatar Thanks! Glad y'all enjoyed it. I don't miss winter, but I do miss fall. I have really good memories of our 3 years in Maine and the gorgeous autumns.

Gravatar We took a trip to Plymouth Massachusetts eariler this year and just posted some pictures of the Plymouth Rock, the Mayflower II, and Plymouth Plantation on our blog. We thought the kids might enjoy seeing them.
