Not sure if you recall who I am or not (IRL friend of ginabina) and while I am subbed to your blog (and often link to it) I don't think I've ever commented!
Anyway, last week we got our orders and we will be returning to Hawaii in a few short weeks. (We left a little over 2 years ago.)Dh will be over at Hickam this time around.
Would you mind emailing me and telling me which (if any) hs support groups you are involved in locally? Our youngest is 16 and I'm just trying to get a feel for the homeschool environment in the area as well as decide which activities for her to be involved in.

As a 20-year veteran of homeschooling, I concur with you, Anne. Even after two decades, I'm still figuring things out. Part of that, I suppose, is because each of my children have different learning styles, interests and passions. I've always tried to accommodate those while still hammering home the need for excellent written & verbal skills, math comprehension at all levels, a love for beauty in art, music & literature, and the supremacy of Christ in all things. A tall order? Yes. Regrets? Zero.
