Our 14 year old daughter (homeschooled) read it in June, and it galvanized her to change her attitude. She's always been sweet, compliant and good-natured, but she was a little shy. By implementing the suggestions in this book, she has become more open and friendly in youth group, is no longer afraid to voice her opinion, and has discovered that she has a talent for songwriting. I agree with you, Anne; this book is dynamite for pre-teens and teens!

Sounds like a cool book to pick up. My oldest "future man" is now in double digits, and teendom is right around the corner.
FWIW, I reread In His Steps last weekend and was surprised to see how much deeper and more nuanced it was that I remembered from reading it years ago. Much more than just WWJD on a wristband or a bunch of pencils. Sounds like Do Hard Things would line up well with In His Steps.

Thanks for the review. I saw this on Amazon and wondered about it. Now I'm sure I have to have it.
