Update: And of course the owner of the Brewery refused to accept the only bid that was made for the land and hsitoric buildings, so now the place and every artifact - both nailed down and not - is going to be auctioned off "piecemeal" in March. After pocketing $15+ million in taxpayer subsidies while at the same time refusing to pay the local property taxes, Gopher State Ethanol's owner has drained every penny he can out of the property, dumped as much toxins as he could on the neighbors, and is now going to sell off the legacy of Minnesota's oldest residiential neighborhood.

Corporate welfare at its best.
