Franken's operatives have gotten all the mileage they can from ballots that have been accounted for, but not properly tallied, so now they're producing them out of thin air.
That dog won't hunt, moonbats.

Tom, unlike you rabid righties who have no respect for A) the rule of law, and B) democracy, your dog died, and can't hunt!
Franken wins by about a 1000 votes, because the electorate will have spoke and the process will ensure all votes are counted. Taint the process all you want, it just shows you don;t have any respect for it . . . . unless it goes your way!

Swiftee-
The unofficial counts don't matter - we're headed for a recount.
You do realize that all that is happening right now, right?

It's a fiasco one way or the other.
I agree with Flash--no one should win a senate seat with 42% of the vote. We should have a run-off between the two highest vote-receiving clowns.
The ballot should read:
Mark an "X" next to your choice.
__ Al Franken
__ Norm Coleman's Teeth

"You do realize that all that is happening right now, right?"
What is happening right now is what they call 'canvassing' it is like an audit of the process where all numbers are verified with tally sheets and compared with numbers reported. Standard fluctuaions are expected.
One the final count is established, it will be reported to the canvassing committee and the results certified. If the results are within he .5% statutory limit, and automatic recount commences the following day.
In this case every ballot is looked at and run through the machine or hand counted. Under votes are individually inspected to determine voter intent based on predetermined statutory guidelines.
This ain't no Florida. All processes and procedures are built into the law, and any attempt at lawsuits will be promptly thrown out of court, like some of Coleman's have already.
Tom spews: "DFL headquarters has it all tallied up already, eh, Flash? "
No, the DFL and other Americans are allowing the votes to be counted. Those of us that have an education are able to extrapolate bases on statistics and trends and make educated guesses on the outcome. Just like Norm and his crew have. Why do you think they are so A) Nervous, and B) trying to stop democracy from taking place!

As an Observer at 2 Boards of Election in Ohio during our 2004 Recount, may you find the administrative integrity and the community fortitude, patience, and perseverance to conduct a straight forward honest recount.
To each individual citizen, civil servant and private citizen-voter: please, do it right, from beginning to end. Democracy depends on the goodwill of all the participants. Do better than Ohio in 2004! Please.

I haven't read the newspapers yet this morning. How many more Frankenvotes did the DFL find under their mattresses last night?

Gigi: Good. I spent some childhood years in Winona and feel like a Midwesterner out of my Mississippi waters here in Ohio. Now if I could have that same assurance from Alaska....Do you know a Palli (me) a Dave and a Michael? How's that for triangulating to locate old friends.

When will you be posting the next extrapolation from the educated folks at DFL headquarters, Flash?
Are we standing pat with a thousand vote Frankencushion, or have they re-read the stastics?
It's been 24 hours; Team Franken has to have to have found a few more Frankenvotes in someone's car trunk sometime last night, right?
Pfft.
I've got to hand it to you moonbats. The party of Scrubs has really been earning it's payola lately!

Tom "I don't care about the rule of law' Swift:
Let the process work. The process that is rooted in local county canvassing and is all but removed from the SoS office. There are 4 judges, two Supreme and two District, along witht he SoS, that get to verify integrity of this election. Not you, not MikeDE, not Sen Coleman, not anyone of the other almost 3 million people
Be a big boy once and watch the process unfold. I'll respect it either way, you seem to think it only works if your guy wins.

Of course....what does anyone have to worry about.
Everyone knows that all of the lying, cheating Democrats are in the SoS office...nope, no Democrats in Iron Mountain! None working for the city of Minneapolis.
Nothin' but us goooood honest Minnesotans out here lettin' the process work.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Tom, virtually all of the employees in the SoS office are Kiffmeyer hold overs.
2nd, not much can happen in any county election process without representatives of BOTH parties/campaigns' being involved.
See, what you shamneless and disrespecting folks don't seem to understand, is every time you flap your jaw on this issue, you are damning one of your own.

Really? So that Minneapolis employee hauling ballots around in his car trunk for five days was a Republican, Flash?
Can you post his name? That guy is an incompetent dolt, and we need to make sure he doesn't get into a position of authority in the GOP.

"Frankenvotes"? That all you got? You're claiming that the majestic wheels of Minnesota's election machinery always grind straight and true and that no recount is necessary?
Spoken like a unreconstructed, heckuva-job-Brownie, Big Govt conservative.
Franken's ALREADY cut Coleman's lead by two-thirds, from 725 to 438 to 221. And the recount hasn't even started. I LOVE the smell of Republican desperation in the morning!!!
