Those firemen thought the path to career advancement depended on skill, merit and knowledge? And the Supreme Court *bought* that crap?

What skill was tested Swift? What merit was part of the test, Swift?

It was about knowledge, and it was about providing written and oral responses.
I don't necessarily agree with Sotomayor, but the law was the law, she upheld it, and this SCOTUS created new law, striking down the old, from the bench. Supposedly you object to that. Flash was making the point you are a hypocrite. Clearly you get it, but equally clearly, you can't admit it.
