I don't think much of polls held before candidates have even had a chance to be seen or heard.
But I do believe that Terri Bonoff fits the district better and has much more experience.
The 3rd district is moderately conservative, and they have yet to elect a Democrat.
Terri has proven herself by being elected in a very Republican district to the Senate seat Jim Ramstad use to hold.
I think we may have a chance with her as our candidate,
but then, what does experience have to do with getting elected.?
This is a funny election year, I'm not betting on anyone at this point.

I couldn't agree with you more, Gigi. Things that seem "set" now (and not much does, at least from an electoral standpoint) will most likely seem topsy-turvy a few months from now, and perhaps a few weeks from now. Then things will semi re-set...before going haywire once again.

And the whole world is watching. (Well, perhaps they're not watching at the state levels, but certainly they're watching the presidential election and the U.S. House and Senate races).

Gravatar Couldn't disagree more with Bonoff as the candidate to beat Paulsen. That poll (paid for by Bonoff) has all of the results within the margin of error. Ash Madia is the moderate who can actually win over the Republicans and Indies with his experience in the US Marines and Baghdad.

Gravatar Madia may be a nice guy,I'm sure he is, but he doesn't fit the 3rd district.
Maybe the 4th or the 5th congressional
district

He didn't sound very moderate to me at our convention.
The moderates I know were supporting Bonof the ultra-liberal group Madia.

Gravatar Bonoff got 2 delegates, Media 6, with one undecided at our Senate Caucus. Terri may be an incumbant Senator, but she's not got the chops to win a US House seat - sorry but that's the breaks. Media is quick, articulate, clever, and genuine. A combination that Conservatives who run as Conservatives cannot beat, and never have.

Gravatar I've seen Madia once on TV, did well I thought. I have seen three stunningly awful TV performances by Bonoff. If my anecdotal scoring is any indication, Madia has the clear edge, for both the nomination and in the general election.

Gravatar Duhhh..Madia was JAG lawyer, he should be able to debate.

I would love to read some of his papers from his college republican days, just to see how he has evolved.
