If Porn-O-Rama wins, what manner of madness can we expect from his celebrating mongrel supporters?
Can we expect to see the streets of St. Paul filled with psychotic, excrement smeared guttersnipes copulating with anything that doesn't move? Or will you be throwing waste at passersby, ala the RNC? Will female mongrels be hoiking out their fetus's and beating them against the sidewalks in an public display of progressive victory?
Heck, I suppose *anythings* possible.
Really, since we have never witnessed a bag of liquid excrement so foul as Franken being handed one of the most powerful jobs on the planet, I'm at a loss to know how to prepare for the onslaught of celebrating scrubs that put him there.

By the way, when Franken wins, I'm sure some of the "mongrels" may celebrate by going out and shooting a few of you white-supremecists (yes, I'm kidding Tommy), but, mind telling them where you live so they can be sure to put a crosshair or two on your empty noggin'? a. Franken is 5 times the person George Bush is/was
and
b. When Bush was handed the Presidency by a BS decision from a highly-partisan SCOTUS - that's my guess.
But I suppose that the latter never bothered you because, hey, Gore wasn't President. While you've said you didn't like Bush, let's be clear why not too -you felt he kept programs afloat for those darned blackies too long, and he didn't kill enough Arabs, not because of the Iraq war in general. I was born and raised in Saint Paul, but at some point in my young life, I discovered something called "The World." It was a great moment, because...
...Then I actually moved away and, wowsers, survived elsewhere for years (to Swiftee, that means in "those durned foreign commie places, yaaaah knoooooooow"). Given the hick nature of things I've encountered since coming back, I hope to live abroad again.
I'm far, far from perfect. But, for goodness sake, at least I have perspective about the world.
There is no reason to let some clever Norsk doof like Swiftee dupe you into thinking that cleverness is somehow related to understanding how things work in the actual world. Those are two very different things.
I don't often have advice, but if pressed my ultimate advice, I guess, is to let Mr. Swiftee think that his yard in Saint Paul, Minnesota ("...oh, yaaaah...?") is a mecca of erudition, and say nothing.

I remember the day in 1989 I was making the 12 mile, 45 minute drive to work, south on the Nimitz from Castro Valley to Fremont, and realized how much I had come to hate California. There was no way I was going to move back to Chicago, but I had done a job at 3M in Minnesota the year before and had liked the place.
So, when I got home that night, I asked the wife if she was ready to get the hell out of the armpit California was becoming...13 months later we were driving a moving truck to a state where neither one of us knew a soul.
In August of 1997, I returned to the Pacific Rim team's apartment in Singapore, on Draycott Drive from a job in Kuala Lumpur and realized that I had just logged in my 230,000th air mile that year.
I also realized that I was going to miss the state fair again...I love the fair.
So I flew back to Minnesota, and quit a job with FSI International that represented the high point of my career.
Year before last, I called my boss from Tampico and explained that although I love Mexico, I hadn't signed up to spend three months of each year there (at least not until I retire)....that'd be my last job for Siemens.
Yesterday, my eldest son graduated college. He'll spend the next couple of months screwing around and having fun...he's earned it, having worked his ass off for the past four years.
In October, he moves to Cologne to start his new job.
His mom and I will miss him, but he's got places to go, and people to meet...maybe he'll be back, maybe he won't, but wherever he is, he'll be making a success of himself....he does not know how to do anything else.
Over the years and through the miles, I've met lots of smug, arrogant little pricks like Mr. Hass; they all share the opinion that they're real special people 'cause, well, just 'cause...if they have to explain, we wouldn't understand.
I find them tremendously entertaining.
BTW. Of all the worlds capitals I've been to, London ranks right up there in my "nastiest" list. Mexico City is dirty and crowded, but at least a guy can get a decent meal, the people there know how to have fun and halitosis isn't considered a national obligation.
