Gravatar Maybe Mitch could help you find a gig like that, too.

Gravatar I like picking on Mitch, but he is pretty crispy clean on this issue. He takes great pains to separate his career from his Political activism, as do I. Mike, not so much!

Gravatar The Nob...:

Maybe Mitch could help you find a gig like that, too.

Easy. Suck up to Soros!

Sorry, Nob. I do my writing between 5 and 6:30AM. I will space posts out during the day to keep people coming back (I may have to explain the concept to you), but unless I get some free time over lunch, my blogging day ends before your Komissar has called you to morning exercises.

Gravatar Now Mitch, don't kid a kidder. Let's examine just two recent posts of yours this week alone that generated numerous comments. In one entitled, "The Tradition Continues," you posted comments at 8:04, 9:06, and 10:40 a.m.. In the soon-to-be-classic "Dissent Must be Crushed" post, you posted comments at 10:01, 11:12, 1:31, 1:32, 1:35, 3:16, 5:09, and at 8:04 the next morning. Those are just the two most comment-heavy ones I saw in a very quick perusal of your blog.

Don't tell us you don't have a blog-friendly gig, your own fingerprints belie that.

Gravatar I don't care why you guys care when some one post to there blog. Does it matter no not at all.

Flash, MDE does not need to explain any personal infomation to you or anyone else.

If Mike choses to then great if not great as well.

Gravatar John, lets say I agree with you, but Mike states:

"But my ethics are not governed by legal interpretations. As I am a Republican operative who exposes Minnesota Democrats, I am continually aware of my responsibility to disclose any conflict that could tarnish the effectiveness of my blog."

He is the one who said he would, but hasn't. See?!

Gravatar Don't tell us you don't have a blog-friendly gig

So?

Care to see my annual performance reviews?

It's a rhetorical question, you can't, but if my blogging interfered with my work (and it doesn't), things would be mighty different.

This is a problem to you why?

Gravatar but hasn't

You keep stating that as a fact. And yet neither you nor anyone has produced any factual, documentary evidence. Just innuendo.

I mean, if there were a lawyer around these parts, perhaps they could tell you the difference.

Gravatar erm Flash? When Mike was working for Kennedy and Bachmann, he disclosed it, in writing, up front and center.

Just what part of "Republican operative" fails to penetrate that razor sharp intellect of yours?

Better ask a sockpuppet to explain what operatives are all about...with the door closed and no one listening of course.

Pffft.

Gravatar Hey free next week?
When do we do lunch?

Gravatar Mitch, it is a fact that Mike's disclosure page is incomplete. I assume now that he has started on it he will be finishing it up over the weekend. I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt and see if he is all caught up on Monday.

Tom, you are correct, but it was after the fact and those items do not appear on his current disclosure.

More Monday

Gravatar Oh come on Mitch. First you say you don't do it. When it's pointed out that it's obvious that you do in fact do it, you don't deny it, but instead backpedal and insist that it doesn't matter. Then you insult the person who showed you up because that's all you have left to fall back on.

What you do on your employer's time is between you and your employer, but don't get on your high horse and pretend it's not happening.

Gravatar Mitch is just demonstrating the consistent inconsistency of those on the extreme right.

Gravatar Flash: Are you happy now. It looks like the page is done. By the way the two campaigns you mentioned. He noted he was part of any time he made a post about it on his blog. So he did in fact let us know he was involved in there campaigns.

Gravatar If by "after the fact" you mean the same week, if not the day he accepted employment with a campaign, well you're right Flash...you go with that.

Again, just what part of "Republican operative" do you not understand?

If the sockpuppets at Minnesoros Monitor (beautiful, Mitch) admitted to being "Soros operatives" I think everyone would have known what they were saying.

I must have missed your obsession with their lack of candor.
=========

And now, someone has led 2punk tommy over here. Charley and Linda will swoon over this anti-American, troop bashing jewel of the DFL.

Hmmm. Ya know, on the other hand, I'm betting that 2punk provides that rare opportunity for Flash and I to agree on somethiing.

I'm *sure* that Flash abhores the type of lowlife that falsifies his military record to buy 'cred' for his politics as much as I do.

2punk has intimated himself to be a disabled Vietnam Vet. He's been extended the opportunity to come clean on several occasions, but refuses.

He's not too bright. And he probably doesn't realize that Flash Jr. is either about to or has been deployed to Iraq.

Instead of buying one at a flea market, he's going to actually earn his CAR 2punk.

I intend to get the facts later next week, but from the evidence at hand today 2punk is lying through his teeth, and casting dishonor upon the guys that put their asses in the line of fire to protect us all.

Lowest of the low.

Gravatar John, he did not disclose until AFTER FEC reports showed payment. payments first reported on MNPublius and PowerLiberal. Only then did he start adding the tag lines.

As for his Disclosure page, a significant improvement over yesterday, but it looks like he is working chronologically. As one who admits his career is a political operative and specifically an oppo researcher, which MDE is a conduit for his work, I am still waiting on 2007 and 2008 disclosures, unless he has been unemployed during that time.

Tom, can you admit there is a significant difference between a few pennies trickling through multiple organization with no direct organization or editorial control whatsoever, and a direct 100% payment from a campaign or organization directly to an individual or his employer. I think you can, you just choose not to.

I don't have any knowledge of TwoPuttTommy's background, but his statement "the consistent inconsistency of those on the extreme right." is spot on and you did a nice job proving it above.

Gravatar "Again, just what part of "Republican operative" do you not understand?"

That part were he omits the word 'paid' as in:

Paid Republican Operative. A distinction that is very key, and one that is neglected not only by him, but the mainstream press

Gravatar Flash, you work at a school, right? Any chance it provides any adult remedial classes for John so he can learn some grammar and spelling?

John - it's 'their' campaign and 'their' blog, not 'there'. And don't yell typo - you did it twice. Hey, at least you're consistent with your errors!

Gravatar Oh come on Mitch. First you say you don't do it. When it's pointed out that it's obvious that you do in fact do it, you don't deny it, but instead backpedal and insist that it doesn't matter.

Whoah, there, little lady.

I said I do my writing in the early AM and the occasional mid-day break. I comment during the day, when work permits, pointing out (correctly, over your irrelevant whining) that it has no impact whatever on my job, no matter how much you wish it to be. I said it because it's a fact.

Then you insult the person who showed you up because that's all you have left to fall back on.

As usual, MNob, you're wrong.

I "fall back" on the facts.

I insult you because it's appropriate.

What you do on your employer's time is between you and your employer

By your leave, my liege.

but don't get on your high horse and pretend it's not happening.

Who's on a high horse? You're the one who's babbling about this absolute irrelevancy, out of some misplaced and mildly disturbing urge to feel you have some "dirt".

There's no there, there.

Give it up. Grab a smoke. Relax. Get some perspective. You really aren't all that!

Gravatar Just out of curiosity Swifty?
What is your military service?
You seem so critical of others.

Gravatar Swiftee is a proud Navy man. He served honorably and nobly including time on the USS Iwo Jima.

Gravatar I served in the Navy aboard the USS Florikan (ASR9). Nothing noteworthy; I did my job just like the rest of my shipmates.

I'm critical of guys that conflate their service to buy them credibility which they hope to use to denounce our country and to mock those currently serving.

2punk Tommy is out here intimating that he served in Vietnam and suffers a disability from that service; it's a lie.
===================
Flash, for your benefit:

"ABOUT ME - MICHAEL B. BRODKORB

I have spent most of my entire professional career working in Minnesota politics and public relations. I am a past employee of the Republican Party of Minnesota, serving as Field Director ('9, Research Director ('02 - '05) and Communications Director ('05) . I have also worked on the campaigns of former U.S Senator Rudy Boschwitz (U.S. Senate - '96), Barbara Carlson (Mayor of Minneapolis -'97), Norm Coleman (Governor - '9. From 1999 to March 2002, I worked for the Minnesota Senate in various positions with the Senator Republican Caucus, ending my employment as a redistricting analysis.

In the fall of 2005, I was hired to do research for the Campaign for St. Paul's Future. During 2006, aside from doing public relations work, I worked as a consultant on Congressman Mark Kennedy's U.S. Senate campaign and for the Republican Party of Minnesota. I also did work for Congresswoman Michele Bachmann's campaign and the NRCC.

I am a dedicated volunteer activist for the Republican Party of Minnesota. I have served in a variety of positions in local Republican party organizations. I am a member of the executive committee of the SD 38 GOP and am currently a delegate to the 2nd Congressional District and Republican state convention."

See that Flash? Hired as in paid employee.

As far as I know, this information has been posted since the DFL succeded in identifying Mike as MDE.

Any other problems? Anything else bothering you? Just let me know, I'm here to help.

Gravatar Mitch, you insult people because more and more frequently that's all you have to fall back on.

It's a nice day. Get outside. Fix some things around the house.

Gravatar Well Sir, now is the time to try the real army, they need new blood.

Gravatar "I insult you because it's appropriate."

No, Mitch you insult people because it's all you know.

Please tell me when it's appropriate to meet discourse with abject insult?

Oh, I know, when you don't like the comments, and don't want to discuss the topic.. I get it now.

As I said, it's all you know Berg. You and Bordkorb and Swift, and your whole little cabal.

Gravatar I said I do my writing in the early AM and the occasional mid-day break. I comment during the day, when work permits, pointing out (correctly, over your irrelevant whining) that it has no impact whatever on my job, no matter how much you wish it to be. I said it because it's a fact.

BTW Mitch - this is a fat lot of garbage - you've said this several times, then when called on how many times you comment during the day, I believe (after being confronted on how you had contrasted YOUR conduct with others) basically said none of it matters and admitted that you freely comment during the day.

Talk to your boss sometime about whether "it matters" or I wonder what your company's policy on commenting on blogs during the workday REALLY is.

You've criticized others for doing the same (i.e. Doug) and then claimed it was a joke. People have the right of it Mitch, you talk out both sides your face, claiming 'YOUR'S" is different somehow, somehow it doesn't matter for YOU, no no, THAT's different, but other people, well, clearly that affects THEIR performance, but NOT YOU.. yeah, right.

Gravatar No, Mitch you insult people because it's all you know.

No, I'll show you!

No, Leftout - those pants DON'T make your butt look fat.

See?

Gravatar basically said none of it matters and admitted that you freely comment during the day

That was like, totally, two jobs ago.

Slightly different situation, not that it's any of your business.

Gravatar because more and more frequently that's all you have to fall back on.

Fall back?

Wait - you think anything you say is a challenge?

That a (wo)man's reach exceed her grasp, or what's heaven for, indeed.

Gravatar "...but unless I get some free time over lunch, my blogging day ends before your Komissar has called you to morning exercises."

"So? *** ...if my blogging interfered with my work (and it doesn't), things would be mighty different."

You should at least make the different claims in different threads, Mr. Berg. It's a question as old as the hills: were you lying then or are you lying now? The initial comment about your blog-friendly gig was made half in jest, but we appear to have struck a nerve.

Gravatar Mitch:

Many times it is just better to let things go and not get into a pissing match.
