More than just a little telling that the Iraq Veterans are, overwhelmingly, running as Democrats - joining the DEMOCRATIC party.


I've met Ashwin Media and Steve Sarvi, they are different people, one a legal affairs officer, the other an NCO, but both are sincere, decent, informed, committed, and fair-minded, interested in solutions, not rhetoric. What an enormously refreshing change from the juvenile, polemic pablum flowing from John Kline. Maybe John can repeat his assertion that anyone not a Republican hates the country, is a traitor, and is actively working to ensure that terrorist kill their own kids. Those kinds of comments are pathetically childish, but are even more disgusting. Anyone wondering why nothing gets done about the war, the deficit, or veterans affairs, need only look to people like Kline, a man far more intersted in pandering to simps and business donations, than in actually improving things.

And the service in OEF was in support of the troops deployed in Afghanistan. Walz was stationed in Italy.
